Well, I took it all apart and then put in the new battery as you described. Have not gone outside to check it out on my '09 Nissan Cube, as it was too late at night when I viewed this video. The video was well done, and I appreciate it. I just had this key fob replaced a few months ago, but my dash light keeps showing battery is weak. The price of replacement is waaaay to high. I had a key fob off of ebay, but they could not get it to sync with the car at all. Not sure if it is worth trying to get to work, but I sure don't want to lose this one. I accidentally left my keys in my Cube when at a doctor's office and because of the dead battery or weak battery, the car doors, which I had locked when I got out of the car, would not open. They keys were laying right on my seat, and I had to get a locksmith to come and open the locked door for me. I had thought this was not supposed to happen, but it sure did on my Cube, and it was not a good experience at all. I'll probably keep that extra regular key from the key fob I could not get to work in my wallet, so this does not happen in the future. Again, thanks for the video. It sure did help guide me.

Just to let some of you guys know, the FOB might also use a CR2025 battery instead. I had to change my mom's for her Nissan Cube 2010.

Yeah, and I'm pointing out that there could be a chance that the FOB might take a CR2025 battery as that was my case. I bought a CR2032 following this guide and when I opened up my FOB I found out it took a CR2025. I'm just giving advice based on my experience. Either way, open up the FOB to be certain of the battery you need first, that's my point.@@that_hppie_kira8695

I've just done a screen capture at the point the key gets out back in as I suspect it only goes back in one way without risk of jamming it if wrong way is this the case. Thanks
