Nissan Figaro Under Bonnet Heat Shield from The Figaro Shop

The front mounted turbocharger of the Nissan Figaro generates a lot of heat and due to its position in the engine bay, this heat radiates very close to the under skeleton of the front opening bonnet/hood. In order to stop paint damage occurring from excess heat, Nissan designed a reflective under bonnet heat shield situated above the turbocharger to deflect the heat. Over time, and due to the age of the Nissan Figaro, these reflective mats have perished, fallen off or no longer perform as they should. The thin aluminium foiled unit has not stood the test of time and lacks the same reflective performance.
We have been asked so many times for a solution for the under bonnet heat shield and we are now proud to be able to supply a brand new, modern, hi-tech solution to this problem. This UK manufactured heat shield is an innovative thermal and acoustic insulator made of a mechanically embossed aluminium foil bonded to a fibreglass backing using a non flammable adhesive. This allows for a thicker product manufactured using modern technologies that will reflect more heat, insulate sound better and allow it to be shaped to suit.
