i know a guy who owns an racing shop that got a 1100hp mk4 supra that runs on stock block and internals... and what is more amazing is that 2jz engine is holding 1100hp for over 6years and its a very reliable car

try tuning the V6 in a R35 to pump out over 1000hp and see what happens... the format of a engine makes a huge difference.. for example an inline6 engine is more stable and naturally balanced than a V6 engine which means it an inline6 has less stress on its parts and can handle way more power... displacement is not everything...

your comment.. you said a supra would rape irl while skylines only win in games. im saying that if both car were stock the supra would not rape (probably wont even win) and if both cars were tuned there are too many factors. its not that hard to figure out

Bore the block and you will only weaken it. 2JZ is at optimum displacement of 3 liters. making enough torque and at the same time balance. RB26 only has better response due to 0.4 L smaller but it makes a tiny difference. RB26 and 2JZ are on the same power level untill you surpass 1500hp. then the 2JZ really shows what its capable off. 2JZ is a power engine. IF you want a really good torque/ power engine with response then rb26. power =2jz. only need 500-600hp to drive it anyway.

i dont doubt that you know what a stock supra can do, but gt-r's make enough power to keep up with a stock supra. maybe it was the driver, or some other factor, but a stock supra just doesnt "rape" a skyline. sorry.

yea the 2jz is best when it comes to 1000+ hp builds. awd will get you the best launch though. i cant imagine trying to get a good launch with a 1000+ hp supra on street tires. r35 is too big and heavy imo.

So does everyone with the RB26. RB25det and gearbox from an R33 gtst is the strongest combo Nissan has ever made. Yet everyone is glorifying the RB26 mated to a get rag 6 speed. RB26 is pretty shit when boost starts going over 18psi. goodbye block, cracks easily. best is RB26 n1 block and then forged internals. the price of an N1 block is almost 5 times more than a 2JZ vvti block. 2JZ if anything is underpriced and underrated against the RB26.

2JZ can run 100 hp on the stock internals yes. modify it and it can do 1000hp daily dude wtf do you mean the Rb is way better? it has a smaller displacement, it has weaker internals. the best combination you can get is the Rb30 bottom end with an Rb25 or 26 head. then you up to standard with a 2JZ. but dont ever say an RB is stronger than a 2jz. even stock the 2JZ is stronger. both of them modded and the 2jz still wins. what have you been smoking?

dude i know this for a fact i drive i fucking supra and back when i 1st dropped in my 2jz (when the engine was stock) i "raped" some r32, r33 and r34 skylines all over the highway also a R34 nismo v-spec2 went down as well and also there was a RX8 that all you can here is the turbo i swear you couldn't hear the engine in that RX8 but he still got it and a cayenne turbo got it as well.. so i know what a stock supra can do

on a high speed run the skyline (only up to the r34s)stand no chance but i will give you a AWD skyline is faster around the corners and on a tight track an AWD skyline will win but from what i've seen once you cross 700hp on a r34 the AWD will kill you or wreck the gearbox... the r35 is a different story the r35 is a well built car and is very impressive but when it comes to tuning over 1000hp the r34 and supra does better due to there inline6 engines..

Two reason supras suck: very laggy cuz most have single turbos that are way too large an look like they are for a big 8L diesel engine and most have no traction when flooring and launching as it is rwd

That i know of, none that cant be solved, some things like the bolts on the suspension mounts and other minor details, the point is the Toyota is simply built tougher, and the base design itself that cant be changed, the Supra is more aerdynamic thus the higher top speed and have an equally efficient engine base but with more displacement and thicker engine block, but overall the Toyota is built tougher, the R34 uses too much of the ordinary car it descends of, the Skyline. (except all new R35)
