This is special! Haven't gotten my 11 year old daughter under a car using an impact yet, but she has moved on from airing up a tire, taking lug nuts off and we are where to place a jack when raising a car. Ok....baby steps...

My 4th vehicle was an 84 nissan truck, extended cab short bed. I bought from a friend that replaced the motor. He put a 2.2 from a 2wd instead of them 2.4 for 4x4. Was a fun truck. Drove it from new york to Colorado

Yah FREAKIN did it!! Your dad is a great guy helping you out with your truck. You are amazing that you do get right in there and do the work! I have a couple of nieces that weld better than me and I have been welding over 40 years!! Hahaha. I’m not as steady as I used to be. They are so bang on. The 3 nephews I have that are “interested” in vehicles are annoying. They want something, then it’s a pain to get them to finish. They buy it and hope I do all the work!! I have had one nephews truck in my storage lean to for over a month. He keeps asking when I will be done with it, I tell him I will help him get it on the hoist and he can do the rest! It’s a levelling kit for an F150. Rough Country complete strut assembly so it’s not that hard to do. His sister has one of the nicest 2 door Wranglers around!! She insists on doing the work and I just teach her. You are much like her!! I am looking forward to bodywork and painting days on Darlene. I had a black and silver Hardbody pickup on the ranch for years!! It was a king cab 4x4. It was hard to break mechanically, but it dented pretty easy,,,,,,,,,,. Your truck is a bit too loud for me still, but that doesn’t matter,,,,,, it’s YOUR truck and you make it the way YOU like. Don’t let anyone tell you what to do, unless it’s genuine advice being offered. The amount of work overall that you and your dad have been willing to do,,,,,,, just to get a header,,,,,,, you can do anything on this truck now!! Are you going to put it on an air or hydraulic suspension for lowering it way down?? Gonna tub it out in the wheel wells and create a tunnel across in the truck bed for tires and axle clearance? Whatever you do, this old Uncle will keep watching!! Merry Christmas and a happy New Years to ya!!! All of ya!!!

I really enjoy watching your videos. I like how your dad teaches and you do the wrenching. Me and my dad were the same way. Back in the late 80s-early 90s when I was a teen,my dad and I built a couple old Datsun 620 pickups for the minitruckin’ cruisin’ days. I sure wish I had some pictures of them.It was so fun to work on those little trucks. I’ve been searching but it’s Pretty hard to find a decent truck like these nowadays. Great channel and vids! 👍👍

Fantastic job! I cringed at the beginning of the video when you were zooming around on the creeper with your hair not tied up or pulled back. I have had long hair most of my life and spent many a nights ripping hair out to untangle it from the dreaded creeper wheel! Then it happened,the creeper got you!! I cringed again but you handled it like a champ! Please don’t ever edit out the stuff that goes wrong, if you are working on a vehicle that is part of mechanic life! You might not understand right now but your dad is teaching you a very important lesson. "In Order To Go Fast Go Slow." Take the time to think things through before you start like your dad does. He takes the time to look at the work he is doing and then gets his tools he believes he needs. That way you don't run around the shop.
