Top-end Magnite costs upwards of Rs. 12 lakhs while some KZbinr put a video claiming that Juke is Rs. 12 lakh Creta rival 😂 Unless the consumer doesn’t become smarter, such shit will continue to fly 🤡

I totally agree… few of the Auto media nowadays just speak what the company wanted.. and just for sake of something they will mention one or two negative points. Getting unreliable day by day.. power and money is controlling the media and that’s dangerous. I am surprised to see some media mentioning SUV swag for vehicles like S Presso , Punch etc.. people should be self aware and shouldn’t trust what they see always. As Gagan rightly side internet is free and we are the products.

Hating upon a particular company just for the sake of views is also clickbait. Nissan has had its own fair share of struggles .Legal struggles ,tussle with Renault over its stake in the alliance and more recently its exit from Russia .India has not been a very lucrative market either due to the customers' preferences of mileage and cars with gimmicky features and substandard safety .However times are changing and India is becoming a business hub where companies are willing to invest .Few months ago ,there was no idea about Nissan's future but now they are trying .I understand that people hating upon this company's venture are the same ones who don't understand that Nissan and Datsun are different 😆 but atleast be appreciative that they are willing to bring the best into our country ,where only looks of led drls and tech features of no use ,matters .Cheers and hoping for the best.

They could just rework the Kicks and launch it at a good price correction. People will welcome it 2nd time(example of XUV300 which after price correction became a sales success). There is surely a market for the product with current Seltos, Creta, GV, Hyryder, Astor, Kushaq, Taigun and given high waiting period. That engine Turbo 1.3L from Mercedes JV is absolutely gem on Kicks giving 1.5L Kushaq/Taigun and Hyundai/Kia 1.4L turbo engine a run for money. Over pricing killed Kicks. Product was good.

They have some great products globally which can be apt for our market. But their JV with Renault might not really allow them to manufacture something locally standalone. Either both brands think in same way, or suffer.

More than effective pricing, I think a better engine, better steering feedback with some feel good features would have done wonders for Magnite. I am not saying it’s a bad car, but sasta bechke car manufacturers sirf negative perspective kamate hai. VFM is the key Indian customers look for, nowadays

We need to accept the fact that these cars will be coming as CBUs. So these cars will cost almost double of what they should cost. Juke - 20lakhs , for a creta rival Qashqai - 30lakhs, for a harrier rival X-trail - 40lakhs , for a compass , Citroen C5 rival. Now think will you pay double for these cars or just buy their rivals at half the price and save rest of the money for customisations , mods and fuel. Yes , some will pay these prices if they like these products , but these products won't become segment leaders or even good sellers until they are made in india with atleast 85% localisation.

Very valid points. Nissan is swaying people away from the main idea. Few points to note. - Most of the products launched by Nissan never saw an update and died. Micra, Terrano, Sunny, Kicks. Kicks is already dead. No one wants to buy a 4 year old product with zero updates. - Magnite sells okay but they are still not able to fulfil the demands and increase production. Mainly focused on exports. And yes no updates to this as well even after 2 years of launch. - This showcase drive was not highlighted by Nissan themselves but by youtubers and auto influencers. Why would company not promote their product on their own social page.

I am pretty sure that Nissan has trust issues with Indian market, they are just not willing to risk it and i simply wonder why ? Being such a cash rich company globally they can positively experiment with the Indian market. Specially in the UAE, Nissan rules the SUV and sedan market. This is simply strange. Secondly, why the hell are they not launching sedans and hatchbacks ?? Like why ? true. Nissan was never serious about India. X trail was ahead of its time and an excellent vehicle. But Nissan didn't start manufacturing in india and discontinued . Now people like me who bought the x trail are finding it difficult to get repairs done. Now as customers like me have lost confidence it will be difficult for Nissan to convince customers. I don't think they will introduce any vehicle at all.
