@@johnjacoby5657 watched again. Don’t you need to pre pressure the pomp again ? You only mentioned about pressure when removing it. I read somewhere you need to put the keys in first position then off and then again first position to get pressure.

can you comment on the behavior of a bad High pressure fuel pump, when going bad?

I had the car sometimes bucking so I changed the pump which had 170k so regardless it was time.

Does it need to be top dead center? Have heard it does and it both ways. If so is there a way to set it without taking apart the engine?

Its called a fuel line retaing clip ..

I don't believe there was an exact code. I think it came up low fuel rail pressure.
