@@barrymichaels2663 hi! So it's a Nissan Juke 2015, pre-owned, and it has as of now after the mechanic fixed it: 113,193 km. The mechanic changed the chain a month ago. He used the same brand as in the video, had it imported from the US.

❤ thanks for this video one of the only ones that really explains in detail the way the timing marks is supposed to be The only thing that I find troubling about the way Nissan has this setup is that how do you know the cams are in the right position can you put the chain on those top links can be a little bit to the left or the right won't be exactly right how come they don't have marks on the Block where you line up the lines on the cams? It's just supposed to be that the lines on the cams are just supposed to Face straight up

Thank you… well if you are referring to the crank pulley I just used a standard harmonic balancer puller.

I was wondering if you took the other motor mount on the top and left the bottom but loosened the bolt would you be able to slide the engine just a bit to the right so the timing cover can go back on a little easy? I'm going to be needing to do this job just waiting till i my oil change is due so i can change the oil since I'm going to be dumping it out for the job. Thanks for the video great info

do u have to remove bottom gear to put timing chain or it just go around and u just tentioner will tight it just like do with bycle

Well it a 4 hour job, so should cost about 400-500 depending on your location.. plus parts cost..

bro after doing everything as u said when i roate engline 360 degree do mark on camsaft and color on chain have to matchg after 360 degree roattion or it dont have to match??

The chain will match every like 50 rotations to the cam marks again. The timing chain is marked for installation and then you'll never see it lined up again

Yes you will have to get a new tensioner and guides it’s recommended..
