What is the remedy(aftermarket) for this CVT issue in nissans? It's appears as if the only thing that is letting nissan down and killing it in terms of reliability is the gearbox.

As at now the best solution is using a CVT cooler, flushing and replacing the fluids.

After market cooling system for CVT and that will solve your problem completely

The bad news is that you will have to install a cheap 16k CVT cooler. The good news is that you can use the CVT issue to bring down the price by 50k when negotiating.
