I considered this, since they kind of stopped the vehicle when I was planning to buy in the beginning of 2023 there was a huge discount available. I liked the mechanical, excellent suspension, engine and good cvt, but less cabin features, only 2 airbags and cvt was not available in the full option / top variant. Considering these and unsure of Nissans future (my previous car was a Ford), I decided to give it a pass.

Ford, Fiat, Chevrolet എന്നി കമ്പനികൾ നിർത്തി പോയെങ്കിലും അവരുടെ കാറുകൾ മികച്ചതായിരുന്നു. യാത്രാസുഖം, Steering feel / Fun to drive, Body quality എന്നിവ എല്ലാം combine ചെയ്ത വാഹങ്ങളായിരുന്നു അവയെല്ലാം. അതിൽ പെട്ട വാഹനങ്ങൾ അൽപ്പം Enthusiast ആയിട്ടുള്ള ആരും എടുത്ത് പോകും. ഇതൊന്നും ഇല്ലാത്ത ഒരു വാഹനം ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടാതെ ഓടിക്കുന്നതിലും നല്ലതല്ലേ ഇഷ്ടപ്പെട്ട വാഹനം ഓടിക്കുന്നത്. May be ഇതൊക്കെ Experience ചെയ്യാനുള്ള ഭാഗ്യം Once in a life time opportunity ആയിരിക്കും. So dont regret for buying a Ford, use it as long as possible

@APK-dq7rc used for 5 years (freestyle dragon petrol), sold in 2023. Was awesome car to drive, but had to move away from manual, driving in Bangalore traffic was hell. Since Ford left, I thought it was time to change. At the time I booked hyryder hybrid, waited for 7 months and then since there was no update from toyota got grand vitara strong hybrid. Not as fun to drive as freestyle but very comfortable car. Gets above 20kmpl in any situation, however you drive. I did a bangalore - goa and goa to Pattambi drive. Both trips were single day drives and the car was super comfortable. So happy with the decision. Not an enthusiast car, but I anyway enjoy riding than driving. So when I need fun, I take my motorcycle out 🙂

I'm using a ford figo (first generation) diesel variant and needless to tell about its hydraulic steering feedback and handling. As i'm planning to upgrade to freestyle, need your insights/feedback on the same. 1. Whether to choose petrol or diesel variant. 2. As the petrol is a 1.2 dragon series 3 cylinder naturally aspirated engine, how is its performance. 3. Being a 3 cylinder NA engine, how is the drivability in city use (low end torque) and in highway (midrange and topend). 3. Not bothering about mileage, but would like to know to know the average mileage. 3. How is the steering feedback being it an EPS unit. It would be helpful if you can share your views.

@@SATHEESHKUMAR-gv6dz if you can get a diesel, definitely go for the diesel, that 1.5 is better in terms of performance and mileage. Coming to the petrol, low end and mid range torque is good and never faced any issues with city drivability. Since it's NA, it doesn't have to wait for the turbo to spool up. Refinement is also good, it doesn't feel like it's a 3 cylinder. On the highway though you will need to downshift to overtake sometimes. EPS is good with feedback and handling is typical Ford. Highway mileage will be around 15-20 depending on how you ride. In city (bangalore) it was about 12kmpl.
