you dont need it. cost about 1500 € - got a 2020 leaf and never used it. Its not performaning magic. The sensors are very accurate, you got a bird view camera and one cam in the front and back. Thats all you need.

Least yours works. My partner’s has never worked and it throws itself up the curb. Nissan still haven’t sorted it out nearly 6 months later as the “calibration mat” to fix it isn’t available yet....

BTW, I have checked so many Leafs but can't seem to find the 'ProPilot park button' even in SL Plus trim 2021 and 2022 with the technology package! Could you tell me if this feature is still available (maybe they integrated with the ProPilot button on the wheel), and in which model and trim?

@@Sam-fg5mi its an option and can be have on from n-connecta trim. You need electric parking brake to have park assist but electric brake is standard on tekna and doesn’t guarantee you will have park assistant when you see electric brake, unless on lower grade like n-connecta. Hope it makes sense

They can't call it by its real name (i.e. useful functional description) of "handicapped parking assistant". My mother needed this badly in her later years. She could drive fine, but getting into a parking spot was a real challenge. She bumped into a few things in the process and would frequently take so long to park carefully that it would dramatically frustrate the other drivers. So yes, there is a need and for those who really need it, this would be so much faster and better for them.
