Bought a Nissan LEAF from new 4 years ago. It's been a joy and luckily there's sufficient amounts of Chademo charging stations in Denmark, where I live. Scandinavian climate is agreeing with the battery, since the temperature in Denmark moves between 25C and -10C during the year.

Here in Florida the temperature is definitely not good lol it keeps the battery warm even when you don’t drive it and are not charging. It always stays about halfway hot. And I’m assuming driving across the United States in November probably is gonna get a little bit warmer as I head out through the deserts on my way to California on my round-trip, really hoping the battery can handle it. I’m gonna take my time. Let the battery cool down periodically and see how it goes.

Nice find. Yes we can use more J1772 locations. As to the question you asked about Leaf and Bolt. Well my wife drives the 2021 Leaf S Plus. She likes it due to its very basic buttons. No real screen or any connection. Android Auto works for her as well. Our 2020 Bolt LT is being used by our daughter for college. It's got a better range for the trip. And just in case she can always get too many CCS chargers between Jacksonville and Sanford. I like the Bolt better due to the display. But both do the job.

I like my leaf, but I wish it had the infotainment center that the Chevy bolt has just for visuals, and I also like Chevy bolt has the battery cooling system.

We looked at both. With 3 kids, Leaf cargo was superior with a full back seat. Plus vs. Smaller pack Bolt range was pretty close. 1st DC charge in a Leaf Plus is faster as well. Only by 3rd charge.does Bolt pull ahead...but that gets to be a lot of miles in a day. Seats also in 2019 were more comfortable in the Leaf Plus.

Once I attempt this journey, I’m thinking I am going to con my girlfriend into doing the same thing with her Chevy bolt and doing a cannonball run from Florida to California to see who can do it faster the least amount of charges and also add up charging time I don’t know it should be fun but first I got a knock this one trip out

I love my Chevy Bolt......I bought it used and I think it may have been a leased car that was turned back in after 3 years. So far it has been an amazing car. I had the battery pack replaced because of the recall. I ended up getting around 21 more miles in range. I have put about 21,000 miles on it since I got it. It scared me at first when I would go out of town wondering if I would have access to chargers. After having my first EV which the range was pathetic I had very bad range anxiety and thought the Bolt would relieve that. I was still getting the range anxiety even with the better range especially during colder weather. When I am around town and not driving any distances I am fine. I just charge at home and it costs me about 7 dollars a month. The main reason for that is driving to the track in the mornings to walk 3 miles. I also go to a town that is close by that has a grocery store which I shop at. The area is very rural and I like it. I can say that so far I have loved my bolt and I may get another used electric vehicle in the near future. I hope to get more range and faster DC Fast charging. The main cars I am looking at are Lyriq, Ioniq5, EQS, Tesla Model S and maybe a Lucid.

Those are all the same cars. I am looking at in my future if I’m ever able to afford another car. Yes my girlfriend on her 2017 Chevy bolt after she did. The battery replacement has already put on 80,000 miles on the new battery in just over a year, doing Uber and DoorDash. And it still operates like it did when she got her battery replacement it still operates like it’s a brand new car.

Hello, I considered the Chevy bolt but I ended up with the Nissan Leaf, I picked the Leaf because of Propilot. GM's Super cruise is not available on the bolt and it is only available as a subscription service anyway which I don't like. I've had my Leaf for almost a year. I got a 2021 used Leaf SL+. Very happy with my Leaf! 😀
