This car is amazing my wife and I drove it we bought it and we drove to Colorado cruising at a hundred twenty miles an hour with a radar detector the car didn't have a problem in and out of the hills, I had more accelerated to go,the car handles perfect, the stops on a dime, the performance it's top-notch I got the dark blue with the with the white stitched interior, it comes fully loaded in the Platinum version, anyone wanting a true nice hard running sports car, you have to take it for a test drive, the car speaks for itself.

NOYFB agreed my 2008 maxima has 193000 miles, not one problem with the cvt! I jus change the fluid and and it just keeps going. The best car I have ever owned!

I have a 6th generation Maxima and well yes my CVT did have problems shifting after driving it for longer periods mostly from red light to red light but the problem is just the solenoid for 25$ if you install it yourself. Maximas are great sport sedans.

I just bought this car...from the minute I sat in it I was in love; the seats hug you and it's like driving a computer! I barely have to step on the Gas...unlike the Altima which had me screaming at the top of my lungs ....the hunk of junk Altima! Love my platinum ....I have yet to even see another one on the road. I completely understand his excitement. I'm not big on Nissan and I know this is a 2017 when I saw the 2018 maxima platinum at a car show I was in awe. im sure they're basically the same. Platinum it is in deed. The seats leather stitching is absolutely beautiful in person. The comfort is a solid 10. Everything just looks better in person. Go check one out.

I bought my 2017 Maxima Platinum off of the showroom floor yesterday. Gun Metal Metallic with the awesome black leather interior, I love it, it’s quick and looks amazing. Now I have to memorize all of the awesome features lol. I made the dealership install me a spoiler on the trunk because they don’t come with one and they really should because the trunk and backend of the car looks naked. Just my opinion.

I own a black one of these and I wouldn't trade it for the world. There is so much I don't know about all the things it is capable of doing.. 🙃 I haven't played with it enough which is my bad. This car is amazing. I always get people and dealers wanting to buy it from me, no no no. I bought it brand new and have less than 40k miles on it. Needless to say I not begun to get tired of it. Highly recommend this car.. Get ya one..

I liked the video, and in spite of owning a 2016 Maxima Platinum for a while now, I picked up a couple of new things. However I have no trouble streaming music from my iPhone via Bluetooth. It's set to connect automatically so I assume you just didn't have the settings quite right.

Love the Maxima. Iv had an ‘87 ‘92 ‘02 ‘11 and just bought a ‘16 platinum. Love my new one, it pretty much identical to this one he did the vid on. Only complaint is the safety feature on the cruise. I don’t wana slow down just cause the guy ahead drives slow. I’ll have it set on say 75 and all of a sudden im doin 69-70. 🤬

I'm confused by your comment. Have a 16 maxima and I stream music on my iPhone through Bluetooth everyday. No need to plug in the device to listen to music. And you can get text notifications via Bluetooth. Go to settings>Bluetooth and click on the information icon next to the maxima Bluetooth and toggle on "show notifications"

I will try the toggle option. When i got the car they all told me I couldnt stream, though I just tried to stream from bluetooth and it does work. I think its the google play that does not work with streaming but you would have to plug in the phone.

It's a setting that's on your phone that you have to switch on the Android Play for it to be able to stream.

I have a 2017 platinum Maxima and you skipped one MAJOR feature on the steering wheel!!! There is a range button for the cruise control on the steering wheel that dictates distance for the cruise control on 3 levels!!!

BE CAREFUL IF THIS HAS A CVT TRANSMISSION. It is over $4000 to fix it, and they are known to have problems soon after the warranty expires. Look it up! The info is out there. This is not an isolated problem.

Julio Salcedo They have really good deals on them now. You can get a 2017 platinum for around $25k - $28k in my area south Florida brand new. Hell I've seen nicely optioned Maxima SL for around $23k. That is a LOT of car for the money!
