@@JACSAutocare got a clock spring, following your vlog to release the air bag and it seems pushing on the two springs either side of the steering wheel is my first set back. I am putting defo pressing on the springs as I can feel the tension but they don’t want to release. The screw driver is about 3” in. I am putting a lot of pressure of them and still no joy. How easy was it for you.

Hello yes got a new part direct from Nissan. It was pointless doing a video on it as it would have basically been the same video. New one fitted all the steering wheel buttons work and the horn also no airbag light. Thank you for watching

What happens when you buy a new clock spring, replace it and the airbag light is still flashing? I’m ragin as I spent £260 ish on it and nothing has changed…. HELP what else can it be

I’m in the same boat…. I have air bag light flashing all the time… I have had it plugged in for a fault code p1049 or something could be 4 things all quite expensive … Srs module 500 plus vat plus fitting Cool spring in the steering wheel over 250 The air bag it’s self 300 plus cause it’s part of the wheel Broken wire would need all electrics tested could be 3-5 hours labour at 70 each hour I have completely given up with it and been too 3 different garages and it’s still on takes the piss I hate the 1.5 engine they use in the nv200 it’s actually a wanky Renault engine and is complete shite with electrics I don’t know how to test the srs module I can test the air bag with resistors ordered them but might stay on Broken wire is hard to find cause it may still show continuity but not carry enough current so the light comes on Personally wouldn’t say my squib/ coil ring is broken because all steering controls and lights all work perfect but may be incorrect My solve is sadly to book in to a garage somewhere and get charged load of money to get it sorted got mot in 3 weeks fucking hate the van it’s been nothing but shit
