Thank you very much for making this video! Just replaced the front passenger hub/bearing on my 2017 NV200 SV! I recommend buying the hub from NAPA because it’s a SKF bearing and the hub comes in a SKF box! I rebuild electric motors and SKF is the best name in bearings. I was thrilled to see the SKF box. Thank you again for your excellent video!

Just did one in my work van. It is much easier if you just remove the nuts that hold the axle to the spring and lower shock bolt, then it will drop down and you can use an extension right under the spring to get to the lower bolts with a gun 👍 My bearing was still stuck to the backing plate pretty good 🤦🏻♂️ I wish I could post a picture here

Great work I myself have the same then I will just change the front bearings out. I have had a lot of trouble with the Beck bearings and Brooks to sockets in to ratchets. So now I have to go do something different don’t have enough room don’t have the right tools, but I will get something later I still have to do the front end and shocks as well all in all there a good van

This van, being very light, tends to deform very fast the tires. When they get deformed they sound hard. The original berings last at least 300,000 miles. The only thing that has worked for me with the tires is never rotate them. They last longer.

Awesome video, I have a 2015 e-NV200 with only 34,000 km and the front bearings already went bad. It sounds like a spaceship when I hit about 30 mph (50 kph) and the dealership wants $750 dollars to replace the front bearings only! Thanks to your video I feel confident enough to tackle this project myself. Just wondering if I have to do the rear at the same time as the front or can I get away with just the front bearings being replaced?

Just the front will be ok but I don't think the bearing are bad with 30K Start with your front tires cross them tire rotation is what you really need in my experience

Well, I rotated the tires and maybe the sound isn’t as loud as before but it’s still there and it gets worse when I turn to the right. I will attempt to change the bearings next month since I spent all my money this month buying this van. I already have a couple of the tools I need so it will probably be around $400 dollars to do it myself after parts and tools. Way better than what Nissan was going to charge me. Again, thank you for making these videos and if you ever get the chance to work on the NV200 again, it would be cool to see you change the drum brakes or even just show how to check the drum brake pads at least.

Just curious since I own a 2014 NV200. How do you know when the wheel bearing is wearing out? what kind of noises or symptoms do you see or hear?
@NAjKONn6 ай бұрын
if its bad you will hear humming noise in harder turns, and if its really bad u will hear it always not just in turns
