Correct me of I'm wrong. This is in Malaysia along the Ulu Yam route. Famous for people running the touge. In simple, touge is basically racing/chasing/following each other thru windy mountain roads. Ulu Yam is probably one of the most if not the most hottest spot for Touge. It's tougher than it seems once you're running this route in real life. It's a mad route. Shouts to Ricky for showing us this video, haven't come across the Malaysian Touge scene in ages. Love ❤️

This is Malaysia, lots of nicecars and bikes there, with some excellent roads, the vw golf would have cost a lot of money as the import duties on European and American cars there, so you do see a lot of modified japanese stuff as you get a lot more car for your money.

Going to give a little insight on the black exhaust guards on the gtr. It wasn't a style thing at first. It was to hide/prevent the nasty soot you get from having aftermarket exhaust mods. Nissan just really has these mfers running rich from the factory. Having to constantly wash off soot is more annoying than brake dust washing. When you remove a cat, go straight pipe or add down pipe the soot only gets worse until you get a decent tune. Even then it still doesn't help. Some tuners will keep the car somewhat rich to prevent engine failure.

The exact same with the e46 me s54 engine, one of the greatest engines ever built with more power per litre than a 2jz without a turbo but everyone bums off a 2jz because tuners couldnt deal with the s54 technology. I also feel the evo x handling is on another level compared the other, the editions. The only way I can describe the driving experience and phenomenol grip in the evo x platform is they are like mini GTRs.

Been running the touge for 9yrs illegally from Honda to evo and sleeper conti now. All is fun until your friend crashed and burnt to death. There’s a limit to using your AD08R. The dead was a professional racer. Yeah it’s all in Malaysia. We don’t care about the law here😭
