@motowagon You need a diesel engine or hybrid with petrol to stay relevant. Pure petrol Internal combustion engines are not fuel efficient. Sooner the manufacturers realise this, they will have a future in India

In 2024, Nissan's top model X-Trail in India includes features similar to the basic version available in the UAE. However, the cost is higher in India compared to the UAE. Nissan appears to be attempting to sell unsold cars from other markets in India.

nissan is missing the point here, its not competing with larger share of market, its about predicting what is going to be larger share of market in next 2-3 years and creating that segment and be a leader in it. Even if nissan creates creta like car, nothing can beat creta at this point. Instead I kindly request nissan bring in your hybrid tech at competitive price and be a leader in that segment which is going to be future even though market share is just 2-3% for hybrid now, its the future for next 10 years. consumers are really waiting for good hybrid cars. Nissan should realize this soon. Nissan has world class hybrid tech and they are just sleeping on it, competing on other aspects which does not make them stand out.

Nissan has the best technologies, but i know that now only. I thought only the maruthi, honda are the only good cars as i was grown in that way. But now I want everyone brand in my garage in future. Tell me what line up do they had for Indian market other than Magnite? If a brand wants to sell numbers ,then they need to stay updated with a good line up or else you ll loose . Even this version of Xtrail is an Obselete version in the international market & they wana dump it in Indian market as a CBU .

From the day one Nissan failed to commit for Indian market. They may do exports though. Rebadging too didn’t work well.

2:20 X-Trail is for demonstrating the engineering success behind Nissan. They have made a 3 cylinder turbo car with CVT that is exciting to drive and comfortable without compro, fuel-efficient without compromising reliability. If they could bring a car in the same engineering that is made in India, price would be much cheaper and the market will respond positively.
