They aren’t even legal for import to US for another 3 years and we all know what happens when those flood gates open! Rest assured the S15 is the one US market buyers are eagerly waiting for. Already they are being bought and put into storage in Japan until they turn 25 years old.
Our S15 is driving beautifully. Engine is running A1 under no stress running stock boost providing a more than enjoyable drive. Even with standard power these cars are a gem to drive when you learn how to pedal them! Well capable of having fun and sideways at the drop of a hat. 6 Speed box is smooth as silk with no grinds whatsoever. As an s15 owner this car has a few awesome factory stuff that you don’t get on most s15s. Firstly the sunroof that is awesome. Secondly if you notice by the door latches inside the car there is a factory mounted door tweeter enclosure. This is not standard and IIRC comes only on the L package versions of the car. Another nice bit is the factory pop up centre screen that runs off dvd navigation. That screen might not be useful outside Japan but it provides a nice space to keep your gauges. Being an L package it was most likely an auto but seems converted to manual. In any case props to an amazing vehicle. A true gem of a car. Owned mine for 9 years.

Absolutely perfect observation Dasrath! Yes Auto converted to proper Spec R 6 Speed so its nice to know the engine has had a somewhat breezy life compared to a potentially harder original manual. And yes the popup display would have been awesome for gauges or something which is what we thought too but its quite a pain to control the actual flip up and down of the monitor without the factory head unit / media player that came with it so we decided to leave it alone. Happy to hear you enjoyed the video 🙌
