This is very useful info, I'm working on a carbureted Toyota 4AF with very similar symptoms. Misfires on cylinder 1 but has 150PSI compression on all 4 cylinders. The diagnosis has led me to a new cap/rotor and then praying it works lol

So did you also have a bad coil, since there was no spark when you switched it originally with another cylinder? Thanks for the video

Sorry to mislead. What I meant to say was I swapped a good coil into cylinder 1 and there was still no spark on cylinder 1 even with a good coil.

what is the part # for the coil? also what should the plugs be gapped at ?

Im having the same issue on same engine. I dont have these tools but i imagine seeing the readings and voltage youre getting, i can check it with just a multimeter and see if i get the same voltage?

If you see the same average voltage, it will be an indication that the wire is more likely ok. To verify it is not a high resistance in the wire you could bypass the wire.
