Replacement on the horrible starter design that NISSAN decided was a good idea. This is for Nissan Titan 5.6

here in Illinois this sucks. all 10 bolt heads were rusted out ... gone (bolt out) starter was stuck in place pry bar and a BFH...And the dam radiator cap you have to lay on...

I don’t know what is worse the starter repair or their temperature control issues with the modules stuck in places that are impossible to get to.

Probably a good time to replace the intake gaskets as well.

You skipped the worst part. Removing the two stuck bolts holding the starter on. Would love to see how you did that. Been trying for an hour to break them loose on mine.

@@Loco4Waffles we didn’t feel the need to put that part because these California cars are pretty easy

@@gasketmasters I ended up using a flex head ratchet and adding the pipe handle from my floor jack over the handle to give me the leverage to break the bolts. Ridiculously tight.

Can you remove the manifold without disconnecting fuel line (or is the line completely rigid all the way)? Also, if you remove the throttle body, can you get away with not disconnecting the TB cooler lines/hoses? Thank you.

Don’t have to disconnect battery because we’re not morons that need to disconnect battery
