As a 2 time current 370z owner, it's difficult for me to disagree. I wanted this new car to be so much more, but sadly it seems like a fancy parts bin car based on the 370. Kinda on the fence whether to get one.

@@isleofgreg Hi! I also have a red 2003 350z and that also puts that 400z to shame. My 2012 370z Niso white with a big wing on the back. It looks like a Porche. The 400z is an INSULT to the reputation of all the z generation. Go back to the drawing board. "

To each his own. I thought the 400 was more streamlined . The 370 looks chunky to my eye.

Yes. new Z is fresh looking but in a year or so old 370 will be better looking. Except the interior, there Z is way better looking.

@@shapica 350 is my favorite of the three i did not like the headlights on the 370 that much

@@TTVFails I agree with you. The 350Z was the best looking. Clean, sleek, long, and low. With those wide haunches... The 370Z was starting to get a bit over-styled, and was a bit stubby looking.

@@TTVFails The stock 03 350z headlights were pretty ugly too but yea the stock chrome 370z headlights are some of the ugliest headlights I ever seen

New Z is sick!! Not sure on the styling, but the drivetrain sounds great! Thinking of picking one up!!! Unlike the new Supra. The embarrassing, lazy, Zupra.... Really weird how people give this new Z a hard time for having the same platform as the 370Z, but then give the Zupra free pass.... WTF?!?!? The Z's updated platform shows conviction, passion in consistent development of this not-so-profitable sports car platform... Something Akio Toyoda seems to have forgotten about while he phoning it in with these lazy badge jobs. I might still consider Toyota for my appliance vehicle. But this new Z has my next sporty passion car interest!

I was working for Bmw for 7 years. It sucks that bmw z4 is called supra. First bmw is not what you would call reliable vehicle. On the other side toyota name stands for quality before anything else. 2nd it is not what people expected when they announced name supra. this one is way underpowered what new supra should be. In whole bmw - toyota cooperation toyota got screwed big time. First in technology exchange Bmw got Toyotas hybrid technology, and toyota got bmws 10 year old diesel engine n47 which still at the time had the problems such as crankshaft sprocket for chain drive, faulty turbos, braking of engine block.. then they got in this cooperation where they gave bmw money to build a z4 that they already intended to build and in return got z4 with roof completly with their i drive and rest od gimmicks. So at the and of the story buy a Z
