As someone who already went through this moment, I can surely say that whoever are saying "Education doesn't teach you manners" is wrong. It's the management's fault. They are the only ones to blame. Recently I went to IISc for an internship, there this scenario is totally different. You get everything as much as you can eat. So everyone knows they will get as much as they want and whenever they come (within the time bound). But at NIT it's quite different. If you are 30 minutes late, then there's no chicken left. This is the kind of management in NIT.

People barking for manners, let me tell you this happens only in 1st year because all 1st year have to stay in 1 hostel (a large hostel than u think) which have strength of about 800-900 students and only one mess community is there to feed that much students and sometimes they failed to prepare food on time so this happens. And education education ka jaap tabhi krna jb khud kuch kiya ho... I m currently in NIT Bhopal and let me tell u idhr bhi aisi situation aati h kbhi kbhi and har saal 8-10 IAS bhi nikalte h yaha se with top ranks..jinko tmlog se jada manners aate h 😂

I studied in this NIT. Mess management is extremely poor. No of students alloted to this mess is huge. And mess food quality is pathetic. If you complain about food or anything you will be threatened from mess administration/faculty. Overall its a nightmare to get Roti from this mess. Huge corruption also dominant in this NIT.
