This is one hell of a concept for a metal (?) album. Just grab the next singer that stands occassionally next to you, give him some lyrics and slowly but silently pull out one great song after the other ... I really dig this idea that the guitarist is the star of an album. Yes, I know - not exactly new but rarely done so ... straight and fantastic. No matter if it's Anders Fridén, Alissa White-Gluss, David Draimann ... or whoever (well ... whoever is available ;-) - it's a great tune if Nita Strauss plays the Guitar, with a little bit Josh Villalta madness)

This drummer is absolutely on point & brings a dynamic I haven't heard in nearly 15 years. The piercing guitar melodies nearly give me the same hair raising tingle from the turn of the century. What?... you all are nuts... Excluding the latest album, every In Flames album after Jesper only has like 2-3 killers songs and the rest are just meh... I've loved In Flames for 20 years, so this definitely isn't trolling. Love Anders and his lyrics, but it took a lot for him to find his singing voice; some songs it works, others not to much. @@aarons6617 well i actually do agree with you, last fully enjoyable album was asop, from then on it shifted from 2-3 "bad" songs to lik 2-3 good songs on an album. But after lots of listens, and hearing them live lots of times i kinda come to the conclusion that it was not Anders or the riffs, it was production cuz live the songs kicked ass, and yes here and there some bland in between parts thats true. But Jesper isn't the answer man and THE (and cyhra, dimension zero,...) Are the proof of it, cause thats just forgetable music

Attended one maidens shows 7-12, Nita performance was stellar. 120-consecutive minutes, she only took a water break. I've only seen live two guitarests that were very adventurous, within mobility stage wide. One being Nita, other being kk downing. Both very thorough while traveling throughout entire stage. She surely doesn't let floyd rest, at any show. She's a industry leader within floyd enhancements. Shows just how much trial by fire practice she places. Which must be multitudes within hours practice.
