Does the clip get in the way of gripping the blade? NJ laws are strict and strange regarding anything they consider a weapon, so I generally carry a Leatherman.

Hasn’t hindered grip at all. It’s in the same place as my bantam which I have used for years. I carried a gerber multitool for a while but found that I rarely used anything but the knife so I went back to a pocket knife. As for legality, it’s not very long so I’m pretty safe in all of New England. NYC and Jersey, I might stash the knife in the car or on the bike to avoid setting off someone with an inferiority complex.
