"not a ton"? wouldn't it be more useful to use a usb-c power meter and tell us exactly how many mAh we would get out of it? 6000 mAh is a marketing claim and for most marketers assumes the battery is 100% efficient, it would be nice to have a review that actually told us how close it gets to that claim. And "not super fast charging" would be much more useful to know what amperage and/or voltages it supports. Is it a basic 3A 5V charger or does it do PD and do higher power charging?

Just looked it up, it supports 5v at up to 2A. I guess a PD regulator was a big ask due to space constraints. 10w peak output is still usable, but not particularly fast for charging smartphones etc. I'll be sticking to my Nitecore NB10000. Plenty slim and twice the output.

bonjour is it a good item ?

Most important information about a powerbank besides capacity is charging and discharging speed. You wouldn't want an emergency powerbank like this one with only 10W charging speed. Maybe it would be best to leave tech reviews to someone who knows more about this stuff.

Nitecore is an amazing brand.

As long as you don't buy their 20 000 mAh batterybank which is crap

Size is great but it would be a slow charge on phones.

But this isn't a silicon carbon power bank now is it? Makes this power bank pretty much useless, since in 500 cycles it will be a lot less than 6k, I'd even take a cheap plastic feeling battery bank with a silicon carbon cell sum it to 6k mah and it would be as light as this without needing a carbon frame and having 1600 cycles in the tank.

I like how compact it is as well as its durability however, the single port feature is a bit of a letdown since I tend to charge multiple devices simultaneously. I think I would rather save a bit and pay the extra $25 to get the NB10k.

I just bought the “Anker USB C Cable, 4 ft 2-in-1 USB C to USB C Cable 140W Max” for more flexibility with wall chargers and it has been working well. It’s like $20 and could work well here too.

@@gotUpdated Thank you for the info. I'll look into it.

So probably gonna get about 5000mah out of this thing. Which charges the majority of phones out there
@jakebenson4187Ай бұрын
Not in 2024 though. Every Samsung, every Xiaomi, most Apple device phones, pretty much all chinese devices have above 4500 mah and a 6000 mah battery bank wouldn't be able to charge more than 4600 mah, due to discharge of the actual power bank and then recalculating the amount of efficiency loss while charging the actual phone, not to mention it's charging at 10w, which I assume this power bank is rated at 3.7v 1a , discharge at 10w on a board level. 3.85v cell would've been better.

Not much to review for a power bank
@isaac655362 ай бұрын
Actual capacity, real charging speed, how fast it charges itself... Plenty to review.
@keithc42522 ай бұрын
@@isaac65536 This is all listed in charging specs (In/Out 5V~2A = 10W). Anyway, the review did not mention any of this at all. I'm not sure how created a 6min+ video to ramble about a battery in a non-meaningful way. If the intention was to actually review the battery, they could've mentioned real-world usage information (Like you mentioned: speed, how many times it actually charged a specific device, etc.) or measured the volt/amps when charging/being charged.
