Triple Function High Performance Headlamp
The Nitecore HC65 v2 headlamp takes everything we love about the Nitecore HC65 and makes it brighter, easier to use and faster to charge. It increases the max output to 1750 lumen, reaching up to 180 yards. Its 100° degree wide angle flood beam covers your entire field of vision. The HC65 v2 retains the auxiliary red light for hunting, insect repelling, or low light tactics - as well as the high cri secondary LED for low light reading, and color rendering. This makes the HC65 v2 an ideal headlamp for camping, running, trekking, biking, or any outdoor activities.
USB-C Rechargeable
The HC65 v2 comes with a 3500mAh high capacity 18650 battery, boasting an exceptional 680 hours of runtime on ultra low. This headlamp has also been upgraded with a USB-C charging port for improved charging times! The LED light beneath the power switch doubles as a charging status indicator and battery power indicator.
Easy to Use and Comfortable to Wear
HC65 v2 is super easy to use with its single switch design. No more fumbling multiple switches in the dark. Just long press the switch to power on and off. When the headlamp is on, short press the switch to cycle through different brightness levels and double tap for the auxiliary LEDs. The setting is memorized even after you turn off the headlamp. It is also designed to comfortably wear the headlamp for a prolonged time with a secure rear pad and silicone grip strip on the headlamp.

This is the coolest alley I have seen....iron bars, no streetlights, rough...the perfect place for a flashlight demo. I've seen this in one of your other demos too I think.

Love it, mine is shipping right now. You're the first to do an actual review on it (besides the goofy Nitecore one). Always love your scary audio tracks in all your reviews. I wonder why this light has a much shorter runtime than the Fenix HM65R-T that I have? Both use 18650 3500 mAh batteries. Even on the lower settings, the published runtimes for the Fenix light are almost double this light.

@ Matthew Please let us know about the runtimes between the Fenix you have and the Nitcore on the way once you've compared the two. Been thinking about Fenix HM65R for a while but the red mode on the new Nitecore NC 65 V2 makes it no 1 on my list... unless low true runtime compared with the Fenix ruins that. I guess the weight on the Fenix with battery but without headband would be about half an ounce less?

@@andersriksson100 Just got the Nitecore HC65 V2, in short order, I'm returning it. Don't like it at all compared to the Fenix HM65R-T. The Nitecore light is a thrower, plain and simple. It's not floody at all, and I don't know where they get their 100 degree FOV viewing angle, but they must be counting the barely perceptible peripheral view that spills from the throw of the light, as that's all it is. It's not a comfortable light, the piece that sits on your forehead is huge, and the light sits on the lower end of the front plate. Also, it's extremely hard to rotate the light up and down when it's on your head. The red and neutral light are ok. Wish the neutral light got brighter, as that one has a much floodier beam. I find that the only way this thing has any sort of useable wide 100 degree FOV is if the light is on the high or turbo setting. The picture on their website showing the 100 degree FOV is BS, It's a very throwy beam in the middle, and there is barely any floody spill. Not impressed, Nitecore, not impressed.

Another great review . you help my decide whether to buy this light or not. This one not for me as it has a horrible green tint when it is in high mode but it does not look to bad on turbo .

I noticed a slight amount of PWM flickering at 6:40 as you approached the camera. Didn't think A high end headlamp would do that. Unless that was just an extreme example?
