Yes! Fortunately everything released by Nitecore this year has been USB-C except for the TIKI series. I think it might have been an intentional choice because the micro USB slot fits perfectly on the back of the TIKI. The light is already so small they couldn't really fit a bigger charging port back there.

@@NitecoreStore While what you say is a mostly fair point, with as niche as a product as it is, I'm not going to spring for something like it without USB-C. It's worth pointing out I already have the TINI in my super small backup flashlight role though. If I were to phase that out it would be for something that checks ALL the boxes.

Great timing, my 5 month old Tiki GITD just broke. Gets heated during charging and blue led never turns off. When unplugged from charger and turned off the battery discharges itself during the day, sometimes within a couple of hours. How to fix this?

This is a reply for Paco JJ . Both versions are the same brightness . But the blue doesn't last as long the green for the glow in the dark .

That's a pretty cool flashlight, I'm currently deciding between this and a Tini2, mostly based on what will fit better with my annoyingly huge and pointy bundle of keys (I currently have a TUP, I'm really happy with it, but it's too big as a keychain, so it's more of a general use flashlight at this point). Too bad TUP and Tiki have a micro USB, as that is a less robust connector than type-C, and decreasing in popularity. I still have plenty of micro USB devices though.

If you want a glow-in-the-dark one, be sure to buy a TIKI GITD or GITD blue, as there is a clear TIKI that isn't glow-in-the-dark (which I managed to order and then spent some time wondering why it doesn't glow except the phosphor on the side LED). It is a bit cheaper though.

You almost lost my interest when you mistakenly said it had a lithium polymer battery. It doesn't have a lithium polymer battery, it does have a lithium ion battery. There's a huge difference in usable longevity between the two battery types, with the lithium ion battery having a much longer usable lifespan.

you probably have already found out, but for anyone else wondering the RovyVon Aurora A7 Blue is pretty much the same thing and it has usb-c. It might be more expensive though

TINI2 has type C and more lumens, but it's wider and more expensive (but shorter and has an OLED screen). Cheaper than anything RovyVon though, at least where I live.

Отличный фонарик, как и большинство продукции nitecore, уже хотел заказать себе, но, блин, какой micro-usb? Уже даже дешевые аналоги за 4$ на Алиэкспресс c зарядкой Type-C. Искать дома место, куда вставить дополнительный кабель для одного только устройства? А в поход тоже брать с собой дополнительный кабель и вес только для одного микрофонарика? Бред просто какой-то. Я конечно понимаю, что разъемов micro-usb осталось на складах очень много и они стоят сейчас практически ничего, но подход у компании неправильный, как по мне.
