something to note about doom's will power. in that last comic panel, doom was confronting the purple man, a mutant with the power to control other people. he had his powers amped to the point where he controlled everyone on earth........except for doom, who had his mind shielded by his armor. purple man taunted doom into taking off his helmet so he could take over his mind. doom did but.....purple man couldn't. why? because doom was able to resist him through his ungodly willpower.

Me, a Marvel nerd and huge Doom fan, seeing this Death Battle preview coming up for the first time, knowing Vader being the popular one was going to draw some controversy because if you knew anything about Dr. Doom at all you know he's the most OP thing there is. I remember thinking at the time that the Star Wars fans and the people that just like Darth Vader without knowing anything about him were in for a hell of a surprise.

I still think that they did this dead simply as a easter egg to his end as Anakin. Dispite me loving the fact that Doom won, the fight was kinda unfair. Without being able to use the force on his enemy, Vader only has his limited force lightning and light saber wich really isn't helpful against someone with a suit that absorbs electricity and is a master martial artist on Batman level physice.

@@nadeemshekh1038 relax against a supreme sorcerer that is a million years old? Anything the force could do , Dr. Doom has seen and done. Therefore he could overcome it. I mean the animation alone didn't do either icon justice. Saying that to say this, Dr. Doom could had presented so much sorcery and Technology. Yes he will over whelm Vader. Not even right. Vader would put up a fight for sure. Still Doom is too damn much and smart too.
