ശാരദാമ്മ നസിറിനെ അവസാനമായി കാണാൻ പോയപ്പോൾ ഹോസ്പിറ്റലിൽ ഉണ്ടായ മാനസിക പ്രശ്നങ്ങൾ കേട്ടപ്പോൾ വിഷമം തോന്നി. നസിറിനോട് അത്രയൊന്നും താൽപ്പര്യം ഇല്ലാതിരുന്ന പഴയ കാലത്തിലെ മലയാളത്തിലെ ഒരു പ്രശസ്ത യുവ സംവിധായകൻ ഒരു നിർമാതാവ് നിർബന്ധിച്ചപ്പോൾ നസിറിനെ വെച്ച് ഒരു പടം ചെയ്തു. അതിനു ശേഷം വീണ്ടും 2 -3 പടങ്ങൾ കൂടി ചെയ്തപ്പോൾ സംവിധായകനോട് ഒരു ചോദ്യം ഉയർന്നു. "എന്തിനാണ് വീണ്ടും നസീർ പടങ്ങൾ ചെയ്യുന്നത്?". ഉത്തരം ഇതായിരുന്നു. "നസീറിനെ വെച്ച് പടം എടുക്കുന്ന എടുക്കുന്ന സംവിധായകർ വീണ്ടും നസീറിനെ വിളിക്കാതിരിക്കില്ല. ആ സ്വഭാവ വിശേഷം, അത് തന്നെ കാരണം."

When I stumbled up on this interview, I couldn't stop viewing it the entire length ; couldn't stop feeling that there can be quite a few universal attributes of real worth and virtuousness for humans ( politics or no politics ,at least as we perceive it! ) . Actress Sharada, who had received Urvasi award at the age of 22 for the performance in the Malayalam film Thulabharam reminisces about Prem Nazir who reigned Malayalam cine stardom for many decades preceding 1980s and with a title like ' the evergreen' hero of Malayalam cinema . Interestingly, one also meets Sharada here not as an accomplished artist but as an intelligent lay person who who would tell you best what could be the real meaning of 'virtue' !
