Nitinol Heat Engine Prototype 1.

This was my first attempt at making a nitinol heat engine. The wire used was 0.5mm thick. Normal opertional speed is around 100-120 RPM for the upper pulley. The engine functions at a range of around 35-100 degrees Celsius.

Use death ray from the sun to heat up the wire and the engine will run for many hours and you can connect it to electricity generator. Bravo ! Almost free energy !

The steam would cause gradual corrosion, probably better off having a contained coil of pope around it that has hot water, that way youd be able to avoid unecicary corrosion.

Can't believe it's just 0.86 nano watts! It's driving that whole flywheel.. there's gotta be something wrong that makes it's measured output so less..

It's because the wire gets bent around then put into some warm water and wants to be straight so it causes the wheel to move. Pretty cool
