I know this concept.. government cannot print more money, Bcs money is just a paper.. what really makes it money are the resources present in one country. For example - suppose a country have 10 kg of wheat so that country can only print money equal to price of 10 kg wheat. This can be tough to understand for some as I am on text, but nitish will explain it! :)

*Fun fact* :- During WW2, the USA 🇺🇸 created a new dollar for Hawaii that was dubbed the “Hawaiian Overprint Note”. Their value was equal to the USD, but in the event that Japan invaded Hawaii and captured US forces, the US government had to label the currency as completely valueless so the Japanese couldn’t use it or exchange it for any reason

It is all about supply and demand. Indian rupee is only useful to Indians and if they started printing too much even Indians would not touch it. But everyone needs USD and Euro to do international business. So they can print them, but only to an extent. America printed huge amount of USD around 2020 March and gave everyone stimulus checks but USD still did not fall (much) in value, because the demand for it is so high.

Yes when the government invests in infrastructure like roads, bridges, buildings, etc. an asset it created. Hence the money spent is called capital expenditure. This is a very good way of creating jobs and improving the economy.

@@jaspreetsingh9673 yes u are right.....and china was also right.....but they did it excess....that's the problem.....any thing excess is problemetic... that's what china is facing now....we have to do it in balanced way Like for example building tall skyscrapers is more costly than building 5 to 8 storey buldings....even if that tall skyscraper takes less space and 5 to 8 scrapper multiplied equal to that skyscraper takes more space.....china to show to the world their development has built 1000 such costly skyscrapers...which the people are not able to buy and investment became non performing asset.....so we should not do that

For this topic I really think one can print good amount of money but while distributing those money has be careful with appropriate approach and should give it in the time span of 5-10 years. Giving at once will crash the economy..

kuwait subunit is 1000 not 100 unlike others. I Kuwait Dinar = 1000 Fils. Hence it is 10 times already.

The government did not start issuing receipts for gold deposits. Private banks started that. Governments gradually built a monopoly on currency issues much later. The gold standard was also built by banks to maintain the value of the currency and make exchanges in different currencies possible. The gold standard did not end because of the impossibility of use. The value of gold used to fluctuate with the deposit sizes which would cause outflow from bigger deposits to smaller deposits. Governments gave up the gold standard in favor of fiat currencies to support the ever-growing sizes and expenses of governments at the cost of the average Joe by causing inflation.

π=gm-gy So if gm-growth rate of money supply increase, keeping gy(growth rate of output at normal level) the inflation increase Also when inflation rises our imports will increase and xports will decrease as a result domestic currency will depriciate due to increased demand of foreign currency by domestic residents

Yes you are right, it all depends on "perceived value" of the thing(like gold, silver or piece of paper). Our rupee has value because we all agree that it has a value, same goes for gold. As the financial system collapses our land can be taken by force, money too. It all depends on perceived value
