If you're talking War of the Spark, you should mention that it featured cards that say "proliferate", which are as good as gold in Commander. Notably, Flux Channeler and Evolution Sage have repeatable Proliferate triggers, which is just so so so nice.

So far I've buyed Only a Jumpstart and a Ikoria Box, and a Lot of Kaldheim and Strixhaven Pack. Jumpstart is good when you start playing because there is a wide variety of card and some Cool legendary Neith and Muxus are my favorite one, Strixhaven Mystical Archive are really cool and the Uncommon Legendary are some of my favorite commander, Especially Dina. Ikoria have a The Triome, Big Spell with the Ultimatum and Rielle. Kaldheim, has snow land and Dual, and the Infamous Tergrid, but from All the thing i've opened it's one of the set I've used the least in my commander deck.

We’re you guys aware that Deadly Dispute is a 4 dollar common? It’s seeing a ton of pauper play and it’s contributing to a big price and is a worthwhile pull, obviously doesn’t justify buying the box but helps turn the value up a little.

I'd think over the past couple of years the triomes are the in demand cycle, so ikoria and snc. Outside of cmd legends cause jeweled lotus is massive, there probably more hits in that sent but the cost is higher.

Ardent elementalist from midnight hunt is a good common in the right decks (it's one of two cards in mono red with the effect) it's one of the best cards in my rionya firedancer deck

If I'm picking a set in standard to crack for commander, it's definitely going to be the set with the possibility of pulling a fricking Demonic Tutor among a collection of other absolute staples. Maybe if the mystical archive was like The List I would expect you to not mention it, but it's in every pack and you didn't even gloss over it for STX??

If I'm being honest, ZR probably did interject the most "staples that I put in every deck now" of any set the last couple years. As a black mage...Agadeems Awakening, Malakir Mire//Rebirth & Feed the Swarm have gone in literally everything since. Also the rare land/flip land cycle is fantastic

I made myself the same conclusion about how good zendikar rising is a great box opening for commander and for novice or someone who seeks for lot of cards that could fit in many decks. Mdfc's, pathway, and more "little cards" I bought 2 holiday gift boxes and 2 draft boxes, one of each for Christmas'gift to my best friend who start commander 3-4 months ago.

Personally I recommend strixhaven for new players because isn't complicated set and the mystical archive have decent commander staple for play or trade. For new or casual players commander legend is good
