The air from the engine blowing the clothes of the mechanics reminds me of God as the wind blowing his sons Jesus Christ's clothes and hair while at the closure of my fellowshipping with them when I was in 2nd grade. Terrill TC!

I second the other comment here - SPECIFY THE LENGTH OF THE TRACK!!!! Why are no times, no speeds, no driver's names posted? Only occasionally, the track results are within view. Why are most shutting off the throttle halfway down the track? Some accelerate for less than 3 seconds

Thanks for the relevant question and comments! The length of the track is 1/4 mile. Sorry that the videos have no more information about dates, names, etc ... but I'm not a TV channel or organization. This is just a hobby for me :)

Thanks for the reply. What I see in other hobbyist videos is following the cars and capturing the time and speed, as posted on signage at the end of the track. That helps a lot. I understand shutting down a car if it has mechanical trouble. But, for example, at 1:32, both cars seem mechanically fine, yet both shut down completely LONG before they've reached the quarter mile, and in well under 3 seconds. It's as if they're running the eighth mile.

I know. Videos for next summer will find the necessary information. Better place to film, etc..

If you watch carefully you can see from the video they both lost traction and shut off.

Just so viewers know. Most of the world (and Finland) use a Day/Month/Year format, as opposed to the U.S. Month/Day/Year. This is dated 'July 1'. That is why people are running around in T shirts instead of down parkas.

It must be 1000 foot because of Scott don't you know? RIP
