We understand your thoughts on this but it does 40 shots (closer to 45), not less, on the regulator. If you're shooting a lot, not for you. For many that just do occasional shooting and don't have the investment dollars without using credit to buy a tank or compressor or the physical capability to hand pump, it's a viable option. Great to keep by the back door for pests.

Looks cool Ben for a regulated PCP if one only needs a few shots. I hear only 40 good shots per cartridge? I think the New Beeman Raider 3500 PSI with a Vevor hand pump is the way to go for entry level PCP. This N2 system would be great to replace Co2 in air pistols?

Sales of this rifle will bomb and it'll be discontinued in a short period of time. $12 per cartridge and only 40 ish shots per cartridge? That thing would cost me like $60 in cartridges for one average shooting session. I'd be able to buy an FX for what that would cost me in a year's time.

@@ShootingGearReviews if that is they case then they are better off just getting a hatsan 95 combo for $164.99 or a gamo swarm dx for $149 or many other spring or nitro piston air rifles I could list that are less money and very accurate if not more accurate then that gun is. and they will not have to keep buying $12 a piece air cylinders all the time just to shoot there air rifle because know one wants to have to do that.

Pellets are to lite to be shooting that fast. Might do better if they were shot at around 950 fps.

Or a PCP with interchangeable air reservoir tubes that you can carry with you. I am sure these Nitrogen can cost more in the long run than refillable PCP air tubes.

Right you are but most people in the shoot, hunt, fish universe are not equipped to refill and many, many air cylinders are not removable/installable under pressure. Hopefully some day they'll see the benefit of what you speak of! Thanks!

If it's got a gas cartridge, how is it considered a PCP? Are the going to say that CO2 guns are PCP?

Pneumatic = gas operation. Pre-charged = prefilled cartridge at 3600 psi. Regulated at 1800 psi. So yes, a CO2 gun is a pre-charged pneumatic technically speaking. If you fill a removable cylinder with hpa to 3600 psi, such as is capable with the Zelos, and then install it, is it not still a PCP?

Yea it'd cost you over $111 to shoot through 500 pellet tin of 22 cal , 11 canisters 45 shots each. By the time you shoot 1500 pellets or 3 tins you could have afforded a cheap Chinese air compressor for right at 200 to 300.

Come on Ben you know this is just a money grab from umarex trying to target the new guy or girl that does not know anything about PCP air rifles and this is not even a PCP air rifle. you and I and everyone else know you are better off with a umarex notos and a hand pump. the cost of the refill cartridges will add up so fast if you shoot 2 times a week in 3 weeks you will have spent enough money to buy a hand pump. I am actually disappointed in the fact that you Angie, rick and several other popular airgun channels are even pushing this. this is a big step down for umarex and man they must have sent a bunch of this hunk of I do not know what to every popular airgun channel out there to try and push this crap money grab gun. I have always enjoyed your channel but like I sad disappointed on this one.

Ya I was not trying to offend Ben either as I enjoy his channel but it is very dis appointing to see sponsorships be more important then the truth. I am a nobody and no expert either but integrity is very important to me and when I see people caving to sponsorships over have enough integrity and balls to tell said sponsors no once in awhile it just makes me sad to see. And it makes me loose faith in there opinions and judgement as well. I do no this though this gun is a huge flop and will be pulled off the shelves fast in my opinion seeing all the negative comments I have read on all there channels today as the negative responses are piling up fast.

@@anthonygillespie7233 ya I own several PCP air rifles from and Airforce talon to Air venture bull pups to the benjamin Armada and a couple umarex gauntlets I do also own the Umarex Notos as well which I think is a great little PCP air rifle. But I prefer to actually shoot spring air rifles more then the PCP air rifles and I like the more high end spring air rifles as well. I own several weiharauchs Hw77k, Hw97k, HW50s, HW30s Beeman R7 and I just recently got the Air arms TX200 carbine in laminate. been shooting air rifles since I was a kid and I am no expert by no means at all But ya I agree this is not the future of airgunning at all. I mean they would have been better off adding a larger air cylinder and a tactical chassy with a collapsible stock to the Notos and called it the Notos 2 instead of this thing in my opinion.

I'm not pushing it. I think it's a good idea and honestly don't see why there are so many haters. It's no better or worse than any other sub $200 PCP I've had. And One of the coolest things is to get a PCP on the shelves at Walmart so more people get started in the sport. I think it'll work for that.

This is pretty dumb. It won't take long and you will spend more on takes than you should have spent on a pump or compressor. A pump is going to always be available these tanks could be hard to find. A compressor with a solar panel will work for a very long time.
