Former Lortex Colonel here from the Wardency era, it was really nice to see that the group didn't die as silently as I thought it would and getting to see some history I only loosely heard of from assosiates in the group. Like everything in this world has their own purpose as its beginning and also their end, the world pretty much works in cyclical pattern. This group existed as an example of obvious microcosm, with its beginning as a shady scamming group only to be revived as a sword fighting clan by a strong persona only to fall after said person retired from the group; Only to fall back into its primary purpose as its own end, and one of its strong member remade the group as a sword fighting clan again only to fall into obscurity once again. These Roblox group videos are always really interesting. One of my favorites is Pinewood Builders, which has been around for over 15 years at this point and still going strong, with its games still being updated to this day and having a very rich history to it, including subgroups such as a security team, emergency response team, and a spinoff group called "The Mayhem Syndicate" for the security team to fight against. I'd love to see a video about it sometime!

i believe "The Family" (ive been apart of similar clans) Is a group for "Royalty" or high ranks. The group may have ecncompassed such themes especially with the use of "Fatherland" Which was used alot back in the day historically to describe a nations land. Pretty cool. I love to see these warclan documentaries. I'd suggest perhaps you do VAK next. One of the very few really old clans to still have their original leader, the most dominant clan, the most hated and ifamous clan, and still today we clanners agree it's the undisputed top clan across history. With only really RAT, and VOID really coming close to it's dominance, and they're both long gone. RAT's successor GUF hasn't been as active nowadays, and there hasn't been a legit VOID successor really ever that last more than a month or two. A video on VAK sounds very interesting not going to lie since their history is so long and historic. It would probably take a lot of effort to make a video on them however. I'll admit I'm personally not a VAK guy I'm much more of a SURGE guy myself which is one of the other rival "filter group" clans.

Filter Groups are all kinda funny in modern time because they are all owned by terrible people or have had terrible hicom in the past 2 years. I think Vak is the best right now because their pedophile incidents was like 2 years ago, vs Sols which was like 3 months ago, both incidents of pedophiles were defended by the owner of the clan for a while. Surge is owned by a doxxer (who is also a front page dev) and op is also owned by someone who threatens to doxx someone. the 4 top filter clans are all bad bruh how did clanning get this bad.

my friend was big into clanning from 2013-2023 when he retired. his brother was doing it since 2010 there was this clan that he was part of called csp (canton strategic protocol) and it used to be one of the best clans at the time you had to be a very good clanner to rank up in their group, and long story short the owner sold the group to a guy for around 100k real dollars (i know thats literally insane) and that new owner ruined the group. i dont know what happened on the inside of the group since im not a clanner but from my understanding he started letting more and more people in for some reason and made it so anyone can be a part of the clan. all of the og members who had worked super hard just to even join the group hated this new owner so most of them just decided to retire

I'm a former leader of the older red F.E.A.R, and I always love to see war clan history videos get this much attention, you don't see that much about them outside of the small clan community ever since Roblox shifted away from favoring them, the forums going down, and their development being outpaced by larger modern games. It's always sad to see an old clan die out, but we have some old ones like PL, UCR, and FEAR (which is turning 15 years old in a week). Each clan has such rich history.

Damn, this brings back memories. Former member of Vortex Special Ops, The Raven Empire, The Robloxian Army (TRA) and Iron Force here. Those clan wars was really one of Roblox's peak days in our history of gaming. It's the closest thing we have to psuedo MMO RPG clan wars outside of actual MMO RPG games. I remember vividly being bored out of my mind back in elementary school and decided to randomly play in one of the group's HQ map. Cut some one hour later and a damn raid was launched. Luckily there was a Sergeant with us who alerted the group, and within minutes about 8 to 10 defenders showed up to reinforce the line. I was manning the mortar pit with a Corporal. The defenses held for the next two hours. Wild days.

I have a quite history to tell is about a game called "Town" which had only 2k players at the time the unique fact about town it was because of the inside clans of the game. As the game were building and fighting with guns and realistic damage and Physical fall damage. At 2022 i had become a co owner of a 60 players group and commander of the B.S.D elite force which has on max 3 members as it was almost impossible to pass the test it if you had no plan or anything. Once at the time we found about a group called "BL" which had 500 members (the largest clan of the game) which were 1/4 of the entire game players, we started a war against them but we soon found out that BL suffered of almost no training. BL was extremely hated by the clan community of the game so a new super clan was created with the proposes of removing BL out of the game, the super clan were formed by BLS, B.O.P.E, national task force, lubensacht empire and other small clans. With all theses clans agaist him we started raiding his training and protect how were getting raided by them. And they were quite bad as a time i got locked in a house against 7 of them i sill won against them By late 2022 we found out that BL leader was a pedo and racist, how we found out? Because we had 20 spys inside their clan and one got a high rank, once we found theses things we reported to the devs and he soon got banned and i cant find anymore his account.

Anyone remember the days of the various public raids against this group that were hosted on the forums? One of the most memorable of such raids for me was that time I lead a raid at their Communications Tower fort where I crashed a helicopter that was taking fire into the defender spawn, then I held out behind their helipad until their helicopter would respawn which I then used to escape. Another notable raid was when me and ~10-12 others were raiding, and during the middle of a raid, like 20 people from another clan arrived and flooded the server, with their forces being split up; with their forces in the first server helping me and my forces win. I miss the days of public raids on the forums.

what i find crazy is that now, copying games doesnt necessarily 'matter' anymore. for example as a lot of people have probably seen these, the "do this to prove mom/dad wrong" games. ive counted at least 15 different people making these copy and paste games. and no one seems to care. same woth fashion games, obbys, simulator games. it doesnt seem to matter anymore if the game was copied, as long as you like it and join their group for rewards. and if it does matter and people are mad, im not hearing anything about it

Truth is. Roblox clan genre is dying. There’s few raids. Low ACTIVE members. Most people got bored and left. It may come back though.

that's a thing that is happening with ever roblox "group-based roleplay" genres, from modern milsims, "border simulators", and napoleonic era, to SCP foundations and Star Wars-themed groups. You stated the reason for that - "most people got bored and left". It's a shame so many genres died over the years so fast, and while I've seen most people say that it's due to roblox becoming more "corporate", I think the reason is in unrealized potential of these genres (from what I've seen, the gameplay, quality, and game mechanics in general pretty much stagnated in them) and toxic people. As someone who is not a clanner, but was part of many border simulators and SW groups, the amount of toxic people was overwhelmingly high. In genres like SCPF, toxicity reached crazy heights: there were actual divisions dedicated to ESPIONAGE ON OTHER GROUPS! Not in roleplay sense, no, no, but in a sense of actual doxing and "espionage". And there are still people wondering, why group-based roblox roleplay genre died.

Lot of it is because of the rise of border games and superclans, I think. The ones that are automated, have players "staffing" their games around the clock, hundreds of officers to pump out events, etc.

The story of Lortex is just like a corporation under a billionnaire taking control a mercenary/PMC groups, or basically the Enclave controlling the US Government behind the scenes in Fallout. If Wardency did not take Lortex Security, the group would've thrived as they should be.

Sorry I didn't get back to you soon enough for the interview, I appreciate you for trying to get a hold of me, I tried to reply, but you never got back to me. There was a lot to LS, but yea pretty ironic it died how it started. Part of me misses being a part of Lortex the way I was, I used to be HR for the clan, but yea, Wardency didn't really care enough about the clan to actually lead it, if anything, Epicency, or Apollyoff as you called him did all the leading, to my memory, while I was HR, Marinist came back for a brief moment, but stepped down because of Wardency's stubbornness. Also, currently LAF is in development by a new leader, the question just lies on whether or not it'll go further than it did.

I was actually a HR during the Darkggod era and never actually caught on to him being an Od'er lmao. Just thought the Empress rank was part of the 'lore' so to speak. Then there was a whole debacle where another HR basically pleaded for him to be rid of her, and I was one of those who chose to leave alongside.

Lol, no wonder I thought Lortex was a Vortex Security (later renamed to Vortex Special Operations or "VSO") redesign. Wish I could have gone through more with them, but by the time I joined, VSO was already in the gutter. Barely anyone was online anymore and the owner gradually became inactive, with only a few officers like "Talha", Wristman, and a few others remaining. My memory is telling me I became an officer in that group but I can't remember anymore. I truly wish I could've lived through those times, but alas, all empires must fall.

Nice video. A piece of constructive criticism: I can only deduce from the content that Marinist is still incredibly upset regarding the events that occurred in 2018-2019, using Nitrolords platform to take out some resentment upon me. Which is fine, stoicism sometimes escapes us. I will say that a small amount of the screenshots both him and the user toast provided are edited to fit their agenda. The video does seem one-sided during the segment about me, perhaps Marinist provided more source material and this is why. It also appears Functionized wasn't interviewed for this content, I'm sure he would've had some not so nice things to say about me too. It's important to understand most of this happened at least six to eight years ago. We were all teenagers, growing up with different circumstances affecting all of our lives. I wasn't a particularly mature or reasonable individual back then, believe me when I tell you the world punished me for it. I can only hope that everyone involved in the history of Lortex learns to let the bad go and instead cherish what great memories we had, even if the bad ones were more plentiful, they to me were not more powerful.

ExaltedArchitect/eeoa (one of the developers Marinist mentioned) here. I was in Lortex when I was in middle school / early high school, and I look back fondly on a lot of the memories from that time. There were a lot of frustrating moments, but I also made some core memories with the people in that group. Good times. Should’ve paid me tho. :(

SAME, long history with TRE, it was my entire childhood, LOL. Still have friends I met from TRE that I've known for maybe 3/4ths of a decade. Sad it got shutdown, but I'm still following the most recent TRE leadership's projects and their new clans.
