But have you ever stopped to think about their origins and lore? Where did they come from, why are they so popular, and why are they so into eyeballs? As it turns out, depending on who you ask, the answer is far more complicated than one would expect. Today, let's dive into the complex and mysterious history and lore of the Roblox Overseers.

The overseers were my favorite medieval faction honestly. They immediately took my heart because of how cool they looked compared to the rest, you nailed the reason I liked it. I always thought overseers existed to keep peace between the factions and were as you said, superior to the rest.

It is rather interesting to see a video about the Overseers considering they never had any actual lore or group, from what I know and have heard they were only intended by Roblox as a item and toy brand. Though how the Roblox community have managed to create groups and lore about it amazes and mesmerises me. It would be great to see videos about the space lore.

Meeboids need a faction like this this! They have two hats though the classic Meeboid head says " Meeboids are a peace-loving race, however, since they look so sinister they are hunted throughout the galaxy. " and the Murderous Meeboid says "This sinister creature isn’t interested in baking cookies and singing songs." This means the Meeboids are most likely a friendly faction. There enemy could be the orinthians because there in space and that is kind of it.

User Aionyte here, One thing that was not mentioned in this video, Overseers were nearly added to the ROBLOXIA canon when a couple friends and I had finally received endorsement for our Overseer group from an administrator named Aragnok. He joined and the group was set up, but when we spoke with Sorcus, it was clear that he did not want them included in our final lore. We were devastated as it took quite a while to get an administrator on board with the project, and we had worked so hard to find a very experienced leadership team too.

something else I've noticed is that the models for the various overseer items are far more rarely used in games, whereas almost all of the other clans have had their stuff, especially armor models, appear in other games many times, sometimes reskinned(such as the sunken warrior set and Theos' original armor back in Arcane Adventures), or not, such as is the case with starscape's armors(RIP starscape, so much potential down the drain)

le lore: Long, long ago, before anyone could remember, in the darkness of the void an ancient god rose, Irakanahn. He soon grew tired of his loneliness in the void and soon became a traveler, searching for a place that could sustain life. And he soon found it: The Mortal Plane. It was home to other gods, so it was here that he decided to create a home. And so at Irakanahn’s will he created, from the dirt, the first member of the Overseer Order, Niinjanik. The god would go on to create many more Overseers, but Niinjanik, being the oldest and most powerful laid claim as ruler, the “Omnes Videntes”, or “all-seeing”, the first Overseer King. He Created an empire, to carry out their God’s will, establishing themselves as an unstoppable force in the Mortal Plane. And for a long time, they were viewed as such by the other empires in the mortal plane. Anyone who attempted to stop them would be slain and sacrificed. They reined supreme among all with their towering black spire that spoke fear into the hearts of their enemies, even the Korblox Empire, of the most powerful of mages, and one of the most ancient kingdoms, bent to their will. Irakanahn even attached himself to the Overseer Empire, to feel the great pleasure they felt as a thriving empire with victory after victory, however, he would soon come to regret this as a fatal mistake. On a fateful, by surprise, a large force of troops from an unknown empire attacked the Overseer Fortress, and somehow despite how powerful the Overseers were, defeated them. They laid waste to their territory, and slaughtered them all, except for a spare few who escaped. But with the death of the empire, came the death of Irakanahn himself, the great god had fallen. The survivors, traveled far and wide searching for a new home, until eventually they found a large cavern of dark stone, and it was here that they first established the Realm Of The Overseer, Or as known today “The Darkening Expanse”. The greatest mages of the remaining Overseer gathered what was left of Irakanahn’s essence and crafted it into the Irakanahn Eye, which keeps watch over the Expanse, defending it from any attacks to this day. It is from this eye, that the many eyes that adorn many Overseer armors, weapons, and materials, are created. Many Overseer kings have come and gone after Omnes Videntes disappeared in the sneak attack. The strongest remaining survivor Daukaltra, was the first king after the attack. He was successful at whipping the empire back into shape, and in exchange for ultimate power, he granted kingship to H’uktuat, who was extremely magically adept but proved to be a cruel and sadistic dictator, even by the Overseer standards. He was eventually overthrown in a coup led by Momaaz where he defeated the dictator in one-on-one combat. To keep such a terrible rule of the kingdom from happening again, he would assemble a council of the most powerful and intellectual leaders of his kingdom at that time. Fiskkefa, Daukaltra, and the eccentric Lord Khallig Shakkar, to act as a council of advisors for him, the very first Eyes Of The Order. More kings rose and fell, as did the Eyes Of The Orders, the empire flourished, but soon its growth stagnated, and the people grew reckless. But it would all change when one day Omnes Videntes the II appeared and took the throne. He was no doubt the most powerful king since Omnes Videntes I, But at one point he had gone by the name of Zarkonan Zenhart, to most powerful of the Korblox Mages, said to be able to take out 300 soldiers with a flick of his hand, but however long ago during an Overseer siege on the Korblox Empire, Omenes Videntes the I had used his godly powers to transfer Zarkonans soul into a Overseer body, resulting in perhaps one of the most magically strong beings ever. He eventually grew strong enough to become king, the Eyes Of The Order were so impressed with him that they gave him the highest honor an Overseer king could receive, the title of Omnes Videntes the II, hence the great king was reborn. And with the help of the most prominent and elder Eye Of The Order, Lord Khallig Shakkar they expanded the Darkening Expanse beyond the cavern, and eventually with the help of the greatest mages they could muster, created a new plane of existence which exists parallel to the Mortal Plane, but is devoid of light, and can only be seen by those using the Eyes Of Irakanahn. It held the most intense training environment in all the lands, but it birthed the strongest of the soldiers, those who failed died, one could no be merely strong to succeed in the empire, the training area is known only as Agony. Under the rule of Omnes Videntes the II a wholly new hierarchy system was created. Members of the empire first start out as Minions, who were enemy soldiers who the empire saw too much potential in to let them die. Their souls were transfered into Overseer body, hewn from the dirt, where they then worked intense manual labor along with intense combat training. The name of Irakanahn is not spoken among the mortal plane, where it is told that those who speak it will have their soul put in Overseer bodies to forever work in the Darkening Expanse. Life as a Minion is excruciating work, and few survive it, but those who do will become stronger, and they move up to the rank of Adept. Few Adepts survive the even more intense and advanced training to become Soldiers, and few Soldiers complete the even more advanced training to become Knights, and few Knights can survive the pure carnage that is needed to become a Zealot, and few Zealots survive the mental strain to hold the magic that is needed to become a Doom Whisperer, and the few that survive the Doom Whisperer’s, those who have honed their physical, mental, and magical strength to the absolute max, can become part of the most feared and lethal strikeforce of the Overseer Empire, the Executioners. Therefore all aspects of the Overseer fighting force are comprised of nothing but the absolute best. It is only of the most slim possibilities that after years and years, of hard work, intense training, and miraculous feats in battle, that one may be promoted to that of a Major General in their aspect of the Overseer fighting force, and it takes even more to reach the level of General, and once one has shown their strength as a general they may choose to use their built up strength in the mystical arts and become one of the few prophets, the most magically adept of the empire. Or they may choose to use their battle strength to become a Warlord, the terribly feared leaders of the armies. And perhaps finally if they are very dedicated, they will keep working as a general in the hopes to become the most coveted rank, an Eye Of The Order. But, if one does not find these options suitable, as a Knigh one may choose to specialize on of their skills, and perhaps become a Shadow Of The Eye, a secretive group of elite assassins that the empire dispatches into enemy territory to take out especially troublesome enemy foes or leaders. Or perhaps one will become an Aegis Of The Eye, a royal guard used to protect the high ranking officials of the empire. And finally the most important of the three, The Ministry Of Inquisition, these people are responsible for political governance, record keeping, and teaching, generally something more related to the analytical and political side of the Empire, it is so exclusive that it cannot be applied for, if one has they necessary skills, they will be contacted. There can only be five Inquisitors at a time with one High Inquisitor and one Grand Inquisitor, which is perhaps the rarest position in the empire, and is currently held by Lord Khallig. The base of the Inquisitors, which is where all knowledge is kept, is a mysterious place called The Spire which is in its own pocket dimension, should the Ministry fall, the empire would fall. Although they are more powerful than the four other clans combined, there main goal is to bring Irakanahn back from the void, which would plunge the universe into chaos, and the Overseers would rule, once and for all. Omnes Videntes the II has gone undercover, building trust with the four empires, and sowing discord and seeds of chaos, all the while in his steed Lord Khallig rules. He is a very distant ruler and does not make public appearances often. No one knows what is going on with the high ranking officials in the empire at the moment, but what we do know, is that with their many seing eyes, they are watching the Mortal Plane, waiting, for there god to rise. One day Irakanahn will rule

earlier you said that that the overseers have a chaotic unknowable hierarchy but then later described their hierarchy in great detail. This feels a little bit like a contradiction but it could just as reasonably be said that there is a written hierarchy that isn't regularly followed and instead used more like a guideline. The video might have needed to expand on that chaos idea.

It's more like they appear that way, there is a structure but they like to make the structure look different to how it actually is. Maybe a general pretends he's the big guy and enemies believe him because he's undefeatable but then later they find out he lied. Also nobody knows where the king is, probably finding lore about the undersmellers.

I've been waiting for this video since I saw the first clan lore video. The Overseers have always been my favorite of the different clans on Roblox, and as a kid I spent a long time in Catalog Heaven crafting the perfect Overseer outfit, which I've only been able to procure over the last few years. I'm satisfied with this story for the Overseers, and hope that their lore gets expanded in the future.

I really loved the ideas of these clans, from the first day I found out about them (LOOOONG AGO) til this day. My favourites were always the emerald knights and korblox. When I was finally able to buy the "korblox general" package, I was overjoyed. I miss seeing the old OG avatars of 2013 and earlier. Nowadays it is mainly just cosplayers of the same characters, trolls and emos.

Man i normally dont like commenting on videos but i cant help myself on this one. When i first saw The Overseer, i immediately fell in love with it. It's design, the colors, and the eyes made it very apealing to me, they reminded me a lot of Sauron from LoTR. As soon as i could i bought the 2k package and made my whole avatar based on them, but there was always one piece of the avatar that was missing for me, which was the eye (too damn expensive). My love for these armored creatures kept growing, so much so that i literally bought the Overseer toy, painted The eye into a giant styrofoam ball, made The Overseer into a marionette, painted multiple drawings of him and even recreated The Overseer's warlord sword in real life with wood. It is sad to me that this community doesn't get the recognition it deserves, and because of that, my interest was slowly lowering each day until my friend randomly sent me this video today (as I am writing this). I enjoyed every bit of it and my interest is now spiked once again. i most certainly loved the story and the existance of Irakonan only proves my point that The Overseers are definitely somewhat inspired by Sauron.

Man, old Robloxian lore goes hard. Personally, my favorite one due to the concept alone is the EKoSS(or EKotSS). White and neon green is a pretty cool color combination, and the fact they're forces of dark trying to keep Robloxia stable is also cool in its own right. not to mention their logo is really cool

there's also a good portion of information about the overseer on the roblox character encyclopedia, it states the the overseer (one with a big eye) has fortune telling and can see into the future, and interestingly enough masterminds the korbloxian army, also the book has info on some characters from other factions like bluesteel and the splintered sky

Splintered Skies, Astral Isles, Redcliffe, and even a bit of Dark Age pack are found in the games. Madcap and Bounty Hunter are used anywhere, free of charge in Studio, unless you're doing it for avatar purposes..._* *_Now I seethe at Knights of Redcliffe because of the funny Ravenna Centurion Armor in Arcane Odyssey. Honestly I checked the overseer items on the shop and as much as the "line leader" helmet may seem generic I love the Corinthian style but honestly back in the day I remember the overseer "faction" were definitely a favourite alongside the "darkage ninjas". I'm not sure if they still exist but meh.
