Now I have to keep the oil and fluid off my hands because I get dizzy and start shaking a lot if I get those chemicals on my hands. I can't even smell brake cleaner anymore without having a reaction. He’s probably forgotten more then I will ever know in my life time. It will be a shame when he retires and takes all that knowledge with him. Hopefully he’s got someone worthy and eager enough to pass those skills down too. Excellent work!

This gentleman is truly a master of his trade. Its such a joy watching someone so expert who knows their craft inside out. You can tell he really cares about the quality of his work, too. Much respect.

This guy is slinging parts aside without regards like he's done this before. I was lost at bolt #1. It's a real treat to see this man work like this. Speed transmission re building should be a sport!

Congratulations. Your detailed explainations are worthy of Merit. I did not appreciate the complexities of an auto transmission untiI watched you pull this beast apart. Thank you for being so knowledgable and sharing.

Fascinating stuff. Auto transmissions are massively complex, and this guy has an encyclopedic and intimate knowledge of all the nuances. Very cool. Had the benefit of knowing a transmission mechanic in Calgary. Similar level of knowledge, brilliant results. Wasn't cheap, but it was fixed correctly the first time - and better than new.

I can pull a transmission apart just as fast as this guy! ...just please don't ask me to put it back together, what anything is, or where any of it goes! Really impressive work here!

The guy is an artist.......with red oil on his hands. I have a great deal of respect for transmission mechanics as they have to be very knowledgeable to get these things apart and back together.

It might just be me being an autist, but I have a real deep appreciation of watching hands at work. This guy Richard is so skilled and accurate it just displays a level of expertise that only a handful of people on the planet can match, and it takes decades to train. I want to be like that too - doesn't matter what your profession is.

It's great watching someone tear one of these down so fast, especially when they can describe what everything does in the process.

I had no particular interest in watching this video but this guy had such a complete knowledge and skill of his craft that It was a pleasure to watch. This video moved at a very good pace. The sad ring tone of the mobile phone was so right on time and perfect when it went off right at the moment the catastrophic damage to the case was discovered. After seeing this I would not have anyone else work on my transmission.☺

That is the most practiced precision I've ever seen on a transmission. Just wow. Well done.

I ABSOLUTELY love watching a fellow do what he does and doesn't mind talking and explaining what it is/does as hes doing it. Some guys act like its all a big secret but this guy is awesome! Love the video....its just another day in the shop lol!

That's it. I'm going out right now and yanking my perfectly fine transmission out of my car and completely disassembling it to make sure everything was done right and then putting back together in an hour like he does. I feel confident.
