I've had mine for a month time for 8hr oil change, it is a beast I keep 4 acres cut ,my old rider took me 4hrs to cut , 2 hrs with this beast and ride is great

Great video and review, thanks. Just picked up my 2022 maverick 54 several days ago. Saw your video which helped me before i made my final decision. I had a entry level zero turn prior but wanted to up grade to commercial level without busting the bank. I feel this mower is an awesome machine for the money. Can't wait for grass cutting season.

Great review, I just ordered 54" Maverick HD with KW engine, pick it up Wednesday. The main reason I bought this mower is I have the MZ Magnum (with Kohler engine) and I love the Magnum. However, I have 5 acres to mow which is a little much for the Magnum. After 2 years of use, I haven't had a single problem with it, just not a comfortable ride, plenty of power tho. I bought the 54" model so I can use the same blades on each. Thanks for a great video, keep us updated please. May God bless you and yours.

Great video! I just purchased mine today. I added the advance chute system with gator blades and a hardtop for ROPS to keep my coconut from getting sunburned. I too debated between the Bad Boy Elite and the Maverick. Hands down, the Maverick was definitely more comfortable and just plain cooler looking! Mine will be delivered in 5 days. I live in Washington state and it also has a lot of rain like you in the northeast. I watched a lot of you tube videos and researched the Bad Boy mowers. They are built tough and this is probably the last mower I will ever need to buy. Getting rid of my John Deere Z345 zero turn after 2 years. Bought it new. Hated to grease it because of the difficulty to grease the zirks on the spindles. Poor engineering. Not impressed with the stamped deck and mulch system. Anyway…..enjoy your new mower and I can’t wait til they deliver mine. Now I’m really excited after watching your experience!

Thanks for the video…..I just bought the 61” Rogue for my property which is 6 acres of cut grass. I pick it up this weekend, very excited to try this out. I am trading up from a 74” tow behind on my JD tractor. My neighbours convinced me to get a zero turn which I have been avoiding for 10 years now.

Just got a 2023 Maverick HD 54” with the Honda EFI motor last week. So far I’m liking it , it’s a lot bigger than my old 16 year old Hustler mini fastrak and I can tell I’m going to cut my mow time down. I like the easy access for maintenance

I just purchased a 2019 maverick with 65 hours on it from a local yanmar tractor dealer. They also have a small selection of bad boy mowers. I have mowed one time so far and couldn't be happier with the purchase so far!!! The suspension was well worth it! Mowing 2 acres with it.

Bought a 22 mavrick HD last week and absolutely love it got it with the Honda engine that was a plus also..best riding mower I've even sat on with the suspension and suspension seat it's like driving a cadillac.

Wish I would have done some more research into buying my 1st zero turn. I moved to a rural part of Bardstown Ky a year and a half ago and went with a Cub Cadet Zt1 54'' deck it did decent on 5 acres for the first season. Second season almost over and the belt system spindles have broken twice now. Terrain is pretty rough on the bottom 3 acres that I only mow every 2 weeks. Going to get thru the last month of mowing and getting the Bad Boy Maverick. Neighbor mows close 7 acres in less time than I do my whole 5 with his maverick.

I bought my maverick at the end of the season last year and love it. Unfortunately like you there was no dealer close by so I did all the sales by phone. I didn’t notice until I got home it was a 2020 not a 2021 which they never mentioned. There are a few upgrades on the 2021 that I wish I had but still the best mower I’ve owned.

Just picked up the 60" Maverick with the Briggs 27hp CXI engine. Hope I didnt make a mistake on the engine choice, but I will be cutting thick/tall grass every two weeks and wanted the 810 cc engine.

I love mine I cut mine on big fields which have tons of tractor ruts and bumps and the ride is so smooth with it and even when you bounce it doesn5 hurt great machine

I am in my second season with mine, same size and engine. Really like it mows like a champ. I have around 3 open acres and about the same wooded. I used my Kabota 2301 with real finish mower before this. This is much faster and easier.. The only issue I had with mine was it ate a belt. Got it fixed and all has been well since.

Hahaha, it drove me insane too!…it was actually an alignment issue that caused my tires to wear in a heel/toe pattern…all taken care of, thank god! 🤣

I love Bad Boy Mowers. I mowed our church lot with the ZT Elite. Its about an acre or so. Then, I purchased the Maverick for my home. I mow about 3.5 acres at home. Basically they are operationally identical. Almost everything about the two is the same. Both have the Kawasaki engines. Both the ZT and the Maverick have 54" decks with mulching kits. The church got theirs first, but we both chose the 54" for better maneuverability. I have a little area that is a bit of incline, so maybe the reaper tires are better, but I really cant' say its a must, its a depends... LOL! Why did I buy the Maverick vs. the ZT? It was really comfort. The seat and the steering arms. The Maverick seat is more comfortable and the steering arms are adjustable. Also the Maverick is 80" and the ZT is 74" in total length, you have about 3 extra inch's of area between seat and foot rest. I know......... but. When your 6' 2 / 245 pounds. It makes a difference. My property has some areas that are pretty uneven and the Maverick pretty much glides over the rougher areas vs the ZT being a bit more of bumpy ride. But I would recommend both the ZT or the Maverick. If your mowing a larger parcel or bigger person. Maverick is just more comfortable.

Totally agree, that’s the biggest reason I went with the Maverick!…when I “test drove” them both at the dealership I immediately noticed the difference in comfort, the Mav rides like a Cadillac…lol…we have about 5 acres (some wooded that I don’t have to mow) so the extra comfort is a nice addition!…thanks for watching!

Yea that’s what they say, I actually wanted the Kawasaki but would have taken the Honda too…but unfortunately with it being end of season no one anywhere near me had them in stock (that I found anyway)…so far no complaints with the Koehler, hopefully it stays that way!…lol

What's wrong with the Kawasaki? I dont think they offer a true Vanguard on the Maverick. They do offer the Briggs CXI though which is advertised by Vanguard.
