Plies producer basically mis informed him. or didn't advise him properly... and had him thinking he was the original creator of that sound. Honestly, these larger rappers have teams that act on their behalf automatically so that might have happened. Also Attorneys will file anything because they get paid for anything they do. They are charging to file, charging to cancel the filing, charge to write your apology statement, lol. Plies or his team most likely reached out prior to filing and didn't hear anything from the other artist and then him or his team filed. I'm not being biased however In fairness to Plies. Like Nitti said sometimes the producer can put the artist in the blender. Meaning they can make it seem like they created a beat and said you would be and you don't know that it belongs to someone else this happened to me because I used to rap back in the day someone sold me a bee and it turned out to be on Ludacris album I didn't find out until later.
