I saw them that year in Clearwater, FL. I had seen them almost 30 years prior with my dad. This was the best concert I've seen. I was was fascinated by how well they all played and interacted. One thing that struck me as amazing, do you notice that if someone in the band is being showcased, EVERYONE IN THE BAND turns to face them. What a cool show of respect

This song still brings tears to my eyes after all these years. I was 13 years old the first time I heard it. Now I am an old lady who still loves it.

Wow ! One of the best live songs I've ever heard ! Great song from a great band still going strong. I remember when they were getting started in Orange County/Long Beach in the late 60's. I was in high school then and have been a fan ever since. One of my all time favorite songs by anyone and they sound better than ever. Brings back lots of happy memories !! Thank you !

I would have been 7 when this came out. I was lucky enough to have older siblings that had a stereo and albums. I remember laying between the speakers and listening to them. I love this song, it was one of my favorites. Beautiful!

Their original fully melodic version transcended genres....I consider it one of the most beautiful songs ever recorded. Years went by and it seems the country western scene claimed the band and required that all too ubiquitous twang which that scene demands, all at the expense of the song's true spirit. No harm done..the guys needed a way to keep food on the table no doubt, but the original version will live forever as food for the soul.
