sure it is a few days past already but you could have probably got the first dome mile stone by using your transport to haul the concret to the dome. as your drones were quite slow carring one at the time.

These are water tanks - the water extractor will only function for a few sols before we move to deep mining. But yeah, could've placed them a bit further away for max efficiency.

Why you build another structures near extractor and pay double maintenance?

You could research the higher passenger count to your rocket. Yes, it will be used only once but you could have 22 passenger and not just 12...

I'd add a couple quality of life mods like show dust radius when building an such but the mechanic goes like this, dust will only affect another building touching it's key node (the hex that the building rotates around) so pretty sure you can have buildings and domes fairly close together without problems, i often use this on resource sites to get three building working the same spot. i did the hardest % run not long ago so dont want to backseat drive comment too much

I'm surprised you didn't research the +10 colonists on rockets tech before launching it out. That would have nearly doubled your initial workforce and the workforce you would have had until their kids achieved maturity.

take the commander south and build a couple sensor towers. then go as far east as possible and build a couple more.. gotta pump up those numbers you're gonna scan forever..

Why are you turning down youths? They'll still do work, anyone too young to work is classed as child, so they'll just live a bit longer than the adults... right?

They are in the Kids/Youths Dome for now and can work outside in the Metal Extractor, which is in range for the Youth dome. They should not reserve space for otherwise babymaking adults though
