What's the relationship between NixOS and Haskell?

I'd say NixOS and Haskell are good friends but they're not married or anything. In less poetic terms Nixpkgs tends to keep up to date with the latest in stuff in hackage and Haskell tooling has a few optional options for integrating with Nix but you can use one without the other. Nix also has binary caches for most of hackage which can speed up builds a lot. I think both communities attract people with the same sort of mindset, hence the overlap. Personally, I've not got nix working with stack and intero so sadly I've stopped using nix for now.
