I can recommend Karteros Beach in Crete because I had 3 to 4.5 meter high waves. It is quite open and is close to the airport (so a lot of wind)

WOW! Never realised Greece had such awesome waves. Loved the "sunset" effect- not unlike the 70's surf movies of old. Damn shame to see tagging on signs and structures in Greece- it's everywhere I guess. Thanks for the post.

The second one must be Agrilos, Messinia. I don't know about the first one, but it should be around there as well - maybe Lagkouvardos.

I don't how they time this. It's not so much the spot. But whether or not the med is pumping any swell. It's not as consistent or long lasting as the Pacific.

I think one of them is in Argilos, Peloponnese. The other one is probably near there too, quite sure somewhere on the west coast of the Peloponnese peninsula.
