I think before launching a project one must think over and over again whether he has the capacity to do justice with it. Its an urdu ghazal by a big poet of Urdu. And ghazal singing is always a big challenge in terms of proper syntax and expression of words and delicateky balancing them on notes. Remixing is not a bad thing. But one must see there is no strking departure from the original high standars. One must not forget Nasir Kazmi and madam Noor Jahan before getting into this.
