Discovered Azam Ali with her previous world music band VAS in late 90’s, Discovered her band mate Sinan Cem Eroğlu thanks to her Niyaz band, such a great proud for us Turks to have that talented musician, i follow his personal projects too, also proud of to have same roots with Sinan Cem 😇

I fell in love with Azam Ali when I was about 11 years old (nearly 20 years ago) and I think she and the rest of Niyaz are so talented. Also, Montreal is my hometown and I'm so proud to share my city with such talented people.

The female poet , Albasri, ( first song ) was born in the eight century Muslim calendar ( 14 century AD ) . There is another female poet named Mahasti Ganjavi who lived 2 centuries earlier in Iran . This great band needs to check her out. I am certain her poems will prove to be inspirational.

I've been a fan of Azam Ali and Niyaz for many years. She's a wonderful artist! But there is something else I wanted to comment on: KEXP's audio production sounds amazing! Those mic's sound so so crisp and brilliant, yet still bring in the low end! I don't know what kind of a processing chain you're running, but it sounds GREAT-even over KZbin! Keep it up! :)
