i understand i am also Black-Indigenous or Afro-Indigenous i have been shamed by people just bc i was lighter than them even tho they were my own people i never was black enough for the dark browns or browns maybe because i came from the south now im in a place were there is mostly blacks and there is only one white kid in my class which she is my friend and down here they shamed me called me names because i was my color to the point that i hated my skin color i wanted to be darker like my mom who is also Afro-Indigenous but im way lighter bc my dad is light skinned with a white dad and a fully Indian mom aka my nana and my dad says that he also faced getting shamed and called out for just being his skin color my cousin has also faced this bc even his teacher told him that he would not be successful and was rlly rude to him

I know what you mean, if I say who I am all of a sudden I’m self hating. “You hate being African that bad?” I hate comments like that towards me. But I’ve learned to accept who I am, I’m happy to be unique and get the best of both worlds.

I still to this day have absolutely no understanding of what an “African-American” is. Being named after two totally different continents makes no sense whatsoever.

It actually makes sense. African by Origin and genes 🧬 and American by birth , upbringing and nationality

@Dove Bird Hebrew israelites, moors, sovereign citizens, Egyptians etc etc. One people lie and try to claim all these, and now aboriginal. What's the pattern? And who's doing it?

@Dove Bird not a single afro roamed these lands pre-slavery, point blank period.

@Dove Bird Egyptians were part of the back migration into Africa, they were not black sub-saharans. That's American black racial culture vulturism, it's why the khoisan are the oldest living people in africa 😅 with Eurasian dna admix
