Nizlopi - Wash Away - Minster Studios

In Mid-December, 2013 we got the opportunity to meet and record our childhood heroes, Two-piece band 'Nizlopi' who became famous in 2005 with their No.1 track 'JCB Song'. We met them in Manchester and recorded a few live tracks at The Ruby Lounge before their show there that evening. The band have reformed and performed two new tracks as well as the 'JCB Song'. We had a great afternoon recording them so thanks to Nizlopi and also to Ruby Lounge for allowing us to film in their great venue.

My love is sat down next to me right now. Sometimes her eyes are sore, and her feet, due to the chemo. I wanna wash away the sound of our not knowing. I want to be in Galloway.... well, the isle of Skye actually, holding her hand whilst stood on the bank of loch ainort. Grieving but unberieved is what I am. This beautiful song just seems to fit somehow.

​@AminorMorning what do you mean? If I never heard of Ed Sheera , I never would have heard of Nizlopi, and I would've never found myself here, loving these guys. Just cause Ed went big doesn't mean he's "bad". That was always his aim and i don't see anything wrong with that. He brought real heart and soul into a mainstream context, incredibly hard to do. And Niz is wonderful, and didn't compromise their music into as tight a box which is also perfectly fine. All pros. Love
