Sometimes I think that Nizza should do a "Worst commons and uncommons" video too, because many new players don't have the time to see the other indeep analysis vídeos, and that would be good for those players to avoid putting in their decks... And even more seasoned players could rethink a card (or maybe notice that they've been misreading it all along). But I dunno, maybe is just an excuse for more Nizzahon content 😅

With the additional uncommon of play boosters in the mix, would you ever consider adding a second best uncommon? Maybe it would be redundant, but it would be interesting to hear your thoughts.

Unswerving Sloth is amazing. a 5/5 beater for 5 with quasi vigilance and quasi indestructible with the ability to untap your creatures is very useful. I went 4-0 with my prerelease. Instant Speed removal is very important in this format.

I do love that card -- I gave it a B in the set review -- but I have the Chariot a little higher.

3:25 Lotusguard Disciple reminds me heavily of Zendikar Rising's "Angelheart Protector". I remember a draft where I got five copies, and it was so much fun getting free attacks effectively every turn.

Just got back from my prerelease. Cracked a samut and built a speed style deck. Did pretty decent. Only lost once and only to the first place player.

I think Transit Mage may be the secret blue best uncommon, just like Micromancer, and I’d argue this one is even better. There are just so many good 4/5 artifacts across colors and rarities, most notably blue shell. There are several bombs that works too like boom mobile, chariot, zombie embalm, possession engine, all the gearhulks etc. The flexibility makes her feel like a toolbox, and often feels like a second copy of the 3 of your best cards

Scurryfoot was MVP for me last night. Two bodies and being able to activate the Exhaust ability as a potential combat trick is a lot of value.

Your take is certainly interesting. Especially for white, most other reviewers rate Collision Course and Lotusguard Disciple as pretty much filler. Same goes for Keen Buccaneer. We'll see how it turns out.

Green decks are main decking broken wings in this set, and 90% of the time its used to remove an artifact. 90% of a broken wings for 33% less mana is a great card.

@ It's only Sorcery Speed though, unlike Broken Wings which is Instant. It's important. A more accurate comparison would be Plow Through, which can kill a Vehicle for only 1 mana. Sure, it can't kill non-Vehicle artifact, but how many of those are there actually around? Also, while Broken Wings is more playable than before, the reviewers I've seen still don't consider it a _good_ card. Being better than a mediocre card doesn't necessarily mean that a card is top-tier.

I could certainly be wrong -- but I think many White Comons look like filler (every card that made "best white Commons" in this video had a C+ in my set review.) White's pretty shallow. It wouldn't surprise if Broadcast Rambler or Ride's End get there.

Beastrider Vanguard was definitely a sleeper card for me. Pulled really far ahead by being able to Anticipate in stall situations

Transit Mage is the best Blue uncommon. In my prerelease it tutored up Aetherspark, Riptide Gearhulk, or Possession Engine. Yes, I had an amazing pool, but getting a solid body on turn 3 and tutoring up a card basically for 1 is honestly nuts if you have even 1 or 2 decent targets, and you most likely will in this format. One game my opponent bounced it after I tutored Aetherspark with it to get speed on a turn, and I played it again and grabbed the Gearhulk lol.

Well, it's build-aroundy enough and dependent on your card quality - your experience isn't going to be everyones with those insane cards haha

@NizzahonMagic LOL for sure. I was slightly joking. I also had a Spikeshell Harrier and Hulldrifter I could tutor with it but those were my worst targets. Point is, lots of amazing targets in this set for it. The look at top 2 put two into your hand is also nuts in limited, looking at 5 to pick 2 is so much better than just drawing 2. I went 3-0 in prerelease and 6-0 in my rounds. Mostly crazy luck, but I learned how good all those cards are. Aetherspark is legit nuts. I filled with hand with it, that draw spell, and I had the 1 drop merfolk, and hilldrifter. I was able to ultimate Aetherspark and along with my 7-8 lands flood the board. Crazy, played Possession Engine and Gearhulk in same turn.

Is Grim Bauble really that good in this format? Seemed like I had it every match in my prerelease and every opposing board had creatures with toughness greater than 2. Was dead in the hand all the time.

No, it's nice but too inefficient to be a great common. It'll feel like a 5 mana draw 2 a little too often
