We are OF the land. Kamala is bi-racial She is half Jamaican ( Black) and half Indian but still the media always portrays her as "black" Kamala always brags about her black identity and rarely talks about her Indian heritage. It might even be a disadvantage in winning the election. At times she talks about her Indian mother and spending time in Madras with her maternal grand father but she never talks about her father who still lives in San Francisco, no photos of Kamala with her father either. It lloks like she had more Indian connection than Jamaican during her childhood. That's not necessarily true. I just asked my customer service representative yesterday from Amazon about how Kamala Harris is viewed by his co-workers and cousins around India and his voice lit up with excitement that was obvious even over the phone. She is a bright light for future generations of little girls in India who have aspirations of becoming government leaders at home snd abroad. She has strong ties to her East Indian grandparents and knew them both intimately throughout her youth and young adulthood. He said he himself is very interested in what her chances shape up as when the political polling comes out a month from now because it is still too early for accuracy he said.

I'm sorry but the republican Asian is not very astute (unfortunately). Kamala has been working internationally (boots on the ground) for the last 4 years as vice president, it's what they mostly do. And, she has been embraced by leaders around the world. We are now having a problem with China, think of how she can sway that as part Asian, which favors her internationally. The problem in the US is that we have become politically polarized and intolerant due to party dogma. Only the independent is free from party dogma and swing voters are now leaning toward Kamala as she is the best of all worlds.
