Born and raised in NJ, lived there until age 40, the cops in NJ are BY FAR some of the worst in the country. Been all over this country and many different parts of the world as well, have seen less corruption with police in places like Mexico and Dominician Republic then I did living in NJ.

If these same police officers wanted to tap a drug dealers phone for his private conversations they would need a court order from a judge to show probable cause and it would be hard to get and limited in scope. I am a libertarian and firm believer that the 4th and 1st amendment are sacrosanct. No one whether a butcher, Baker, or candle stick maker should be fired for "Speech" in their private communication or for "Opinions" expressed on you tube or social media unless the person is making a public reference to his employer or employment. Do you want your boss wiretapping your phone to see "If he approves of your off duty views or opinions"
