@squid842024 жыл бұрын
@@adamwall-r6f It's a style of music en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bounce_music . I think he saying he ain't go no bounce meaning he don't got no hype beats
@rileybfree19134 жыл бұрын
@@adamwall-r6f Its a slang term. bouncing to the music = shaking / dancing to the beat / feeling the beat. when he said "the bounce coming up" he meant "the banger comes next". when people say to you, they were bouncing in the club they mean they were heavily dancing and had a good time. also meaning the music slayed :)

Pure. Artistry. The dope part about this moment is our perception. We hear this knowing the song as it is now. That playback we hear in our heads, thats what these guys hear before it exists. 🤯🤯🤯 This decimated all. Such a perfect moment to to capture.

OutKast typically had more uptempo, strange beats . Houston started the whole Screwed (Chopped n screwed) Genre, where songs were super slow and trippy. Hov sayin he can kill either style

Rolling Indo outkast didn't have many fast songs but he's referring to Bombs over badhgad when they were rhyming fast as hell and a few big Boi tracks. The had a few fast songs off albums but nothing on that level of bombs over Baghdad. By 2003 they had just dropped the double album and big Boi had a couple fast tracks on that album as well like ghetto Musick which came out right before Jay recorded this song. Outkast music varied with every type song possible. They're probably the most diverse group in hip hop history. They even joked about it on aquemini. There was a skit said a guy said they were confused first they some pimps, then aliens or genies and now on the black righteous space crap. Miami music was fast in the 90s. That Luke shit and Trick Daddy had a few. Maybe for NY dudes outkast was rapping fast

This makes me wanna get back in the booth. The joy of making music and everyone nodding their heads to the bars after they hear you rap it and you being an artist jumping in the booth expressing your pain on the mic and coming out the sh** asking how I sound and everyone saying nah you bodied that and you finally going to the block to let everyone hear it is something amazing.
